The owner sat me and I was immediately greeted by a server. Everyone speaks English, German and their main language, Italian. I wanted pasta and some pizza and ordered both. The server suggested a smaller plate of pasta because the pizzas were larger than a personal size. The pasta came, perfectly al dente and what an amazing flavor. You don't always find spaghetti Agio e Olio and when you do, this is how it is supposed to taste and feel..... noodles perfect and not too oily. The shaved garlic was fantastic and the slices of chile added a bit of additional heat but not overly spicy, but flavorful. Like in Italy, if you are not in a hurry. It's the best way to eat, a casual meal without anyone pushing me out. They allowed me time to enjoy the pasta and ample time for the next course to come, the great pizza. I couldn't finish it and normally when traveling, I wouldn't take the leftovers. However, I couldn't help myself and has to take it for a snack for later after I come home from the Oktoberfest needing a bite. Even though the servers didn't bother me, they were always there and available and ready to happily serve whatever request you have. The owner is always walking around, working, and most importantly, talking to his patrons. He reminds me of my good Italian friend who owns an Italian restaurant where I regularly hang out to talk, eat, drink, and just be amongst friends; they make sure to see how the food looks that comes out and they also care and make you feel like family. This is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to and it will be on my list of places to come back to eat lunch or dinner whenever I am in Munich and want something different than the good and wholesome German food that is everywhere.
