I came into your store and was not greeted by anyone. The employee was on his cell phone and didn't even look up at me. Finally, he acknowledged me when I went up to ask him a question. For a store that has such upscale instruments like grand pianos, the employee was dressed very poorly, wearing jeans and a sport jersey. Several customers came to ask him questions, and he didn't know answers for several of them, so he just said, "Good luck." The customers looked stunned and confused. When I checked out with my purchases, I asked the employee to double check that he had rung me up correctly because the total price seemed high. He said that he had done it right, so I took him at his word and left the store. Later, I looked at my receipt and realized that he had overcharged me. Your employee did not represent your store well so I am less likely to be a repeat customer. read more

We've done business with Piano Gallery for years. We've bought a violin, viola, guitar, and today a piano. What I love is that they take the time to explain the differences between models in a way that I feel like they aren't trying to get me to buy the most expensive thing. The piano we bought today was used. They delivered it and did a great job! They tightened the bench and tuned the piano without extra charge. For years I have wanted to surprise my wife with a Grand Piano. This year I was finally able to do so but I honestly had no idea what to get or how to make any of it happen. I have always been a huge supporter of shopping local so I headed over to the local Piano Gallery. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They walked me through 3 different piano, explained what made them different, and even helped me to get my wife in to test them before she knew I was buying one. I shopped at this ebay store. The seller had 100% positive feedback. I felt comfortable shopping from this seller. It seems like there are three different physical locations for the stores in Idaho on have an ebay shop. I ordered a clarinet reed. Long story short, the tracking # stated that it was delivered to my mailbox, but it was not in my mailbox nor at my front porch. On the day that it was delivered but not being able to retrieve the item, I contacted the seller immediately asking for resolution. The seller said that the quickest way to resolve it was going to be to contact the local USPS. I was not happy with what the seller was suggesting since I was expecting the seller to apologize for the inconvenience and offer to ship me a replacement item. But, okay. So, I contacted the local USPS. Bottom line, USPS said that they could not locate the item. I contacted the seller with the updated information and requested for a refund. Then, the seller ignored my e-mail. I sent another follow up e-mail the next day requested for a refund again. And? Didn't hear anything again. I contacted ebay; they opened a claim for me. So, I came in contact with the seller again. This seller sent me the link to the tracking again and stated that it was showing that it was delivered. I reminded the seller that on the very day it showed that it was delivered that I contacted the seller to bring it to his/her attention that I did not receive the item. While I thought it should have been the seller's responsibility to follow up with USPS, I still cooperated with what the seller advised: to contact the local USPS. I also provided the update of what the local USPS stated. The seller said that once the tracking shows that it is delivered, there was nothing that (s)he could do. This e-mail went back and forth. I was requesting for a refund since I could not be charged for an item that I never received and the seller stating that the item shows that it's delivered and there was nothing that he could do. Finally the seller offered to ship another item. I told the seller that I was no longer interested in doing business with him and wanted a refund (if the seller were to make this offer when I initially brought this to his/her attention, I would have been frustrated because I had to wait for the item to be shipped again, but I would have gladly accept the offer and I understand that it's not the seller's fault. But after the seller's attitude and how I had to fight him tooth and nail? I found the offer of replacement too late.). Then, the seller went about the same route again: it shows that the item is delivered, there is nothing that I can do. The seller went as far as stating that if the item was stolen that I had to file a police report. But during this process, what has the seller done nothing more than trying to put the blame on me??? I called the local USPS office again and asked what they could do because I was stuck with this situation. I stated that I think it should have been the seller's responsibility to look into what happened if I brought this to the seller's attention on the very day it showed that it was delivered. The local USPS office stated that it was the seller's responsibility and also stated that it was strange that the seller shipped the item first class instead of priority mail. I asked for the difference, and it was explained to me that priority mail automatically insures the item up to $50. So, in cases like this if the seller/sender would have filed a claim, they would get the whole value of the item up to $50 plus the postage fee. USPS stated that they deal with the seller but not the recipient. USPS stated that most sellers and (small) business owners would ship and item via priority mail for situations like this. USPS suspected if the seller was sending the item first class because they wanted to save some postage cost. I don't know how this seller has 100% positive feedback. I may be the first one (which, I honestly think is highly unlikely) that did not have the package delivered. But, it's not only the delivery issue. To me, it's about how the seller went about handling this situation and his/her attitude. I can't see this seller having a different attitude in different areas of matters/issues that needs to be resolved. read more

This place has an amazing selection of pianos, organs and keyboards, not to mention band and orchestra instruments, guitars, ukuleles, sheet music and accessories. The staff is very helpful and courteous. They have a suite of studios where they offer classes in piano, guitar, organ, violin and singing. The recital hall is first class. Definitely a place in Idaho Falls you want to go if you are interested in music. read more
