I spoke with them and they confirmed the reservation. I offered to give them my phone number (american phone number) so they can secure the reservation. They told me they didn't need it. I was a bit skeptical, so I called the next day to confirm. I know it is a busy day in Mexico City so I confirmed my reservation again and I offered them my phone number again. They told me they were fine with my last name. Mother's day came, needles to say they didn't have the reservation. My Mother in law was so disappointed and upset. I tried to talk to the manager and he said to me "what do you want us to do?" Me: "Find us a table and apologize for starters." They didn't do that and we left the restaurant. We couldn't find another restaurant for a reservation at 2:00PM. We ended up eating at 4:30PM all dressed up in a fast food place. I will say if you don't speak the language or you speak Spanish with an accent don't even try it. They will completely disregard your reservation and leave you hanging. For a place as pricey as this one, not having someone that speaks english over the phone is absolutely outrageous. I will not recommend to go hear unless a concierge makes the reservation or you are really fluent in Spanish which I thought I was but apparently not. They really ruined a special day, so disappointed.
