Calabria itself is the region least visited by tourists, yet it's one of my favorite places to visit in Italy. The Calabrian town of Pizzo is a quaint little seaside commune and Piazza Della Repubblica is a bustling public square where Italians gather for a meal or shop in one of the small family businesses dotting the cobbled streets. Whenever I'm in Calabria, Pizzo is always my base camp and I make sure to book my Airbnb on the beach with a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea within a short walking distance to Piazza Della Repubblica. *Highly recommended read more
