Wow - easy to use, safe, and clean parking in Italy!! Yes, I am a fan…read more... This 24hr underground parking lot was extremely convenient for us to use while we had a car in Bologna. Not only was it a short walk from the apartment where we were staying, but our hostess said that it is one of the largest in the city - - so plenty of parking spots to find. I'll admit, I was a bit nervous on how to use an overnight parking spot while in a foreign country. For example - - was it safe?? And how exactly do we pay, etc etc. Well this was easy-peasy! You drive the ramp down, collect your ticket... and then when you need to exit you take your ticket to the small pay kiosks near the elevator. Pay... (it takes credit cards and cash). Then you insert your card when you are leaving the parking area. Very, very easy to use. The parking spaces are smaller than what we have in the States; but don't worry - so are the cars too. You'll be fine! I would definitely recommend parking here - -it's relatively easy to get back on the the Autostrade too.

Be careful! This parking is in a "Zona a Traffico Limitato". One year after I have parked here I…read moregot a penalty of 92 EUR just because I took the road to that parking. Totally rip-off!
