We came from Prague to Kutná Hora for a 1/2 day trip. After the ossuary we took the bus to the…read morecenter and happened upon this place. It was a cold but sunny day, so we decided to sit out in the sun. There are some picnic tables outside with a nice view of the cathedral and the arcade of statues. They have several menu options. They also have a few pictures of food items. That to me screams tourist trap. So although we avoid these type of places, we went ahead and ordered because they accept credit cards and we were running low on cash. We were trying to not use our remaining kč as to not have to take more cash out. I just wanted soup, but my husband wanted food. Silly man. The garlic soup with ham and cheese was pretty good and it warmed my bones. Now, we ordered the fish & chips from the touristy menu. Looked beer battered and was pictured with hush puppies. We got corn meal breading and no hush puppies. We also ordered the fried cheese. All the fried items were pretty greasy and had a bit of old oil aftertaste. Service is pretty gruff. And here's the kicker. We go to pay, and we get "No cards, cash only". Forget the fact, that right on their window they have stickers for every single credit card known to man. Including AmEx. Fortunately, we had enough cash, because although they have an ATM attached ro their restaurant, I was not going to withdraw from there! So if you just want beer or hot soup, you're ok. As long as you have cash.

We truly enjoyed every single item that we ordered. The house made bread was so delicious. If you choose to get seated downstairs you will walk right past where they make their home made pasta which is so cool to see. It has a really cute and cozy ambiance. Overall this modern Italian establishment was amazing and if we have time we may just go back for more menu items

It was the most expensive meal I had in Prague, and while the food was good, for these prices, I expect to either be really impressed by the food or to have particularly special service or ambiance. Because I didn't have a reservation, I was seated in the entry hallway; the ambiance may be a little nicer in the downstairs dining room. I had the spinach tagliatelle, tiramisu, and a lime iced tea. I thought the candied walnuts in the pasta were interesting and I really liked the dish. The tiramisu was good but not a standout, though I liked how the bitterness of the espresso came through. Lime iced tea was pretty sweet and more lime than tea, but it was nice even if it wasn't what I expected. If you don't care too much about prices, this is a good place, I just think there are comparatively good Italian restaurants at a better price if you go a little further from the major tourist areas.
