The meatballs were a bit dry but the sauce was very tasty. Service here was on point and the servers are very attentive! I would recommend trying out this place if you get the chance!

However, our expectations were not met. We came here later in the evening, and they were not too busy at the time. We decided to sit in the patio toward the back. Once sat, we perused the menu while we ordered our drinks. I opted for the grilled arrachera, which came with a side of rice, mole, and fried beans with cheese. Well, the steak came out rather bland. It had no taste. The beans and mole did little to solve this issue, and the rice came in a very small portion. The coffee was okay, but I've had way better. I had higher expectations for this place, considering that other eateries in Torreo provided a far better - and tastier - experience. I wouldn't come here again. Here is hoping they learn how to season their food.

The upstairs dining area is a round table for larger parties set in a 70's themed kitchen: brilliant. Even the dishes have a corresponding character: Papa Jolie, Papa Selena, and the super chichona Papa Pamela. The food is where the Papa Guapa falls a little short. Everything is based on the potato, which is a sensitive star player: it can be really bland so it has to be a stellar spud to shine. You can choose between a mashed potato bowl with all the toppings mixed in or a baked potato and while the concepts sound tantalizing, it really just ends up being too much potato and the result is rather boring. It's a bit expensive as well, we ended up paying about $60 for 4 potatoes, 3 Nutella milkshakes, a beer and a kids meal. As unimpressed as I was with the food, I love the concept too much to hate. It's a fun experience but Satelite has tons of tastier options.
