This has got to be the worst experience I have da 12th q had in all my years working with pawn shops. Recently I purchased a bicycle from this store. Then after 24 hours of usage; I felt the bike was best suited for a conversion project. So I inquired about returning my purchase to the company the next day. I was told since I had not purchased a warranty; that I would not be able to return my purchase. When I asked about the price of a warranty. It seems that is determinded based upon the purchase price of the item. This is the first purchase I've made from this company. I have visited ither locations and this company rates 1 star. Excellent customer service, my reason for the 2 stars is for the fact this Picasso Pawn in Durham is a very small location. Normally when I check out the different ones in the city, they are decent sized stores you can walk around, this location feels like a shoebox. I am always worried I will knock something over because there is hardly any room to move. Customer service that I have dealt with the few times I have been here has been excellent. read more
