Many familiar faces and many new ones over the years, but one thing remains the same - the friendly family-type atmosphere. The staff is top notch, and they make you feel very welcome and comfortable at the club. Elite would be considered a "higher end" club for Milwaukee standards (not Equinox or Reebok SportsClub high end), and expect to pay more than your LA Fitness or Snap. Memberships include towel service, unlimited classes (may be a charge for a certain few), and I believe daycare (check first). The facility houses both indoor and outdoor lap pools, hot tubs, steam rooms, basketball court, racquet ball courts, eight indoor tennis courts, and even two outdoor clay courts to bring out the Rafael Nadal in you. The gym floor has pretty much anything you could imagine. Most of the equipment is relatively new, but the treadmills are older Life Fitness models. Everything is really clean and well maintained. Personal training, athletic training, massage, tennis lessons, and physical therapy are offered services under the roof. There's even a limited service cafe where smoothies, Alterra coffee and other snacks can be purchased. For those with families, this is an ideal club to join. There are a myriad of children's programs running throughout the year, including summer day camps. There are plenty of social opportunities for adults as well, including tennis leagues, social volleyball, and various parties where the old crowd gets the opportunity to put on their Sunday's best and try to boogie......good stuff! The facilities are in great shape and well maintained. The bathrooms are constantly cleaned, and you really don't have to worry about funny business going on in the steam room or hot tubs. One of the few health clubs I've belonged to where I can shower without feeling as if I've stepped in a petri dish!

The gym is nice, the indoor/outdoor pools are awesome, and its very clean. I even dropped a kid off at the daycare and she had a good experience. The staff are nice and a few already know my name. I still need to use my free personal training session and massage credit. Excited to try the other locations!

I had such a good morning at the club, worked my shoulder, stumbled into the Pilates reformer area where a really kind trainer got me excited enough to sign up for sessions and her weekly class, then swam about 500 yards. Everything was going perfectly. Then came the locker room. It was quiet, almost empty. I came out of the shower, headed to my locker, and this fully dressed woman was standing there. She said good morning, I said it back. But then she sat down right next to me while I was naked, turned her back, and pulled out her phone. The whole locker room was open, and she picked that spot. I felt exposed and uncomfortable. Once I got dressed, I told her that phones aren't allowed in the locker room. Instead of apologizing, she turned it on me, saying I was "threatened" by her just scheduling her classes. I told her plainly: I felt unsafe because she sat right next to me with her phone out while I was undressed. She doubled down, kept making snide comments, then followed me out of the locker room mocking me with "have a nice day." That's when I lost it and told her to go fuck herself, that no one should be pulling out a phone next to a naked person in a locker room. At the front desk, they brushed me off, said the GM would call me. Two days later she finally did, and her cold, terse, completely unempathetic tone made everything worse. She told me the woman had every right to have her phone in the locker room - that their rules only included the use of recording devices in the locker room. Then she actually suggested that if I didn't want to risk being filmed, I should use the private changing area by the pool. That floored me. I told her they were risking a potential lawsuit by not enforcing stricter rules. She just said, "Yes, we sure are," in a way that made it clear she didn't care about my opinion at all. Then she asked, "Do you want anything else?" I said, yes, I want your bosses to call me. Ridiculous. Frustrating. And I think that "they" didn't enjoy interacting with me. So I'll keep coming. And I will keep complaining until they commit to a safer space for everyone.

This gym is very clean and the equipment is well maintained. Is it weird that the bathrooms here are my favorite out of any of the Anytime bathrooms I've seen? They are spacious with large sink and counter space as a stool, scale, and little rack if you need to take out and organize your stuff without throwing it on the floor or counter top. They have a separate area for TRX work, which is really neat. I'm surprised there are only 5 treadmills - I haven't had any issues getting on but compared to the other cardio equipment and the popularity of running/walking, it just seems sparse to me. They do offer personal training sessions here and have a room for On Demand workouts. On my first visit I did not realize the mats, exercise balls, and steps are also in the room so I was freaking out that I had no where to sit and stretch hahaha. Don't make my mistake - just venture into this room and do your thing! My only grip - which really isn't a big deal, I've just been spoiled - is that they do not have full cable channels on their tvs: local channels, ESPN, and HGTV (or something like that) only. My guilty pleasure while working out is usually the E! channel however FX, Comedy Central, or ABC Family are usually good for me... I try my hardest to get here early in the 4 o'clock hour so I can watch Ellen. Overall, very nice, clean, and everyone I've encountered (staff, fellow gym-goers) has been very friendly. I definitely recommend this location for your home gym or a good workout if you are on this side of town!
