Visiting the Oconomowoc area, and we needed to pick up some groceries. Two markets were recommended…read moreby our hotel as being good and in close proximity. The Metro Market, however, was referred to as having better prices. We were very pleased to see the selection of products and, in fact, they have a much better selection than we have near home. All kinds of fruits and vegetables, some of which I never heard of! Tantalizing ready-made dinner options. Plus. everything that was on our groceries list. Prices were competitive, especially if you have their (or Kroger's) frequent shopper card. We didn't. However. I went to Customer Service and was able to get a new card even before my husband stopped browsing the coffee selections. Easy to find, and free parking. We'll visit again before going on to our next stop.

No other grocery store charges me for cash back except my former employer. Kroger does everything they can to take advantage of their employees. Customers, BE CAREFUL they are not a reputable company and they take such advantage of their employees. It is a very toxic environment. Upper managerment comes through and makes the help feel like crap, yet they promte associate care over the speaker system. Zero motivation and zero concern who their managers are and how they work. Awful place to work!! Top heavy with management and when Mike Marks come through a store he doesn't even acknowledge the store help, but rather beats them up, such a hypocrite!

Sendik's - Oconomowoc, WI…read more This Sendik's location has truly become one of our household's favorite grocery stops. From the moment you walk in, it just feels fresh, local, and well cared for--with an amazing selection of produce, prepared meals, and specialty items that make healing, plant-based eating actually feel doable. We especially love the Grapevine Market section, which has some great low-sodium options and dairy-free finds. There's a surprising amount of clean-label brands tucked throughout the store, and the fresh-cut fruit cups, deli counter, and salad bar are all well-stocked and appealing. It's clear they take quality seriously. Gracefully Accessible Notes (as a trach + scooter user): Smooth scooter access - wide aisles, automatic doors, and no awkward layouts or tight corners Clean air - well-ventilated, not heavily scented--big relief for those of us who are oxygen-sensitive Restroom access - restrooms are clearly marked and roomy enough for mobility equipment Kindness counts - staff are attentive, patient, and didn't rush or stare--small gestures, big impact We always leave feeling cared for and seen--not just as customers, but as real people with real dietary and accessibility needs. Thank you, Sendik's, for creating a space where good food and good dignity go hand in hand. #AccessWithSamera | #GracefullyAccessible

I don't give reviews, good bad, or indifferent. This is my first review written ever. Unfortunately…read moreit follows a bad experience. I have been a loyal customer for well over 25 years. I don't like to hang out in the store. I know where things are, know what I am looking for, and go during off peak hours. Time to get ready for Thanksgiving. Cooking for 16 adults and 2 kids. Would like to be able to feed everyone. Figure that I need at least 25 lb bird. There were several bins labeled 20 - 24 lbs okay maybe we can settle for 25lb. Rather than posting the weight on the frozen bird, you get to weigh them yourself. Spent 20 minutes sorting through the biggest turkeys I could find. The biggest one was 18 lbs. I found nice guy stocking the shelves, he was happy to take a look. Found 22 pounder. I thanked him and left it there. Spent 1-1/2 hours at the store. Spent $160, and still have no turkey. My wife wonders why I bother shopping there still. I pride myself at not listening to her, but am creature of habit. Think it's time to look elsewhere for my groceries. Major let down.

When these are brought in, it totally makes my whole day!!

Every employee we spoke with was genuinely friendly and seemed happy to be there and happy to help. We thought we needed to stand around inside to wait on our food and then take it outside to the street side tables but we were quickly encouraged to go set outside because " we know you guys are out there and we will bring you your food". We did and within less than 10 minutes we were served our fresh side salads. The wait staff was attentive and genuinely interested that we had everything we needed. Our pizza came out in just about the right time. Crust is just like we like it and the ingredients were super fresh. Again, we were checked on several times, but never felt hurried or rushed. The W experience was a pleasant surprise; the food was excellent but the staff was simply stellar. Kudos! We will be back and we will definitely brag on this place to others.
