I came in to purchase a few items for a friend's birthday. This particular friend had spent some time on an Indian reservation in Arizona in their youth. I thought they might enjoy receiving an item that reminds them of that particular time in their life. There was a lovely woman that helped me pick out a few items and also gave me some information on events that is held locally with regards to the various Indian tribes in the area. It is a really nice store that carries jewelry, art and other items of interest such as the Indian headdress, pottery, dream catchers, talking sticks and other items of interest. This is not the type of store that you just run grab and get out. You really need to take your time to browse, read and reflect because the items in this store aren't just cool souvenirs, they have meaning and great cultural significance. It reminded me of being in a museum. Normally, I would run straight to the jewelry but this time, I found myself drawn to other items and really needing more time than I had available. I know that I will be back for a special event in a few weeks so I will definitely be purchasing something at that time. If you like items of cultural significance and uniqueness, this shop is great place for inspiration and exploration.

This was my first time using a professional framer in years and they were so patient in explaining all of my options. I ordered a custom rush frame and they were able to have my piece ready in 3 days. I'm sad to say that I haven't made it to a theatrical performance yet but did enroll my daughter in their fall Stories Come Alive! class. The class taught beginner techniques and storytelling to young elementary children and seemed to be enjoyed by all. I was also impressed by Kyle's (the theatre's education manager) presence during classes and overall involvement and communication. I would definitely enroll my daughter in a future class and plan to attend an upcoming performance in the spring!

The building is a performance space and has a nice-looking concert hall. The actual art amounted to a couple of rooms and a spread-out open area as one enters. There were some interesting pieces there, but I was surprised there wasn't more art within the amount of physical space we're talking about. It's certainly a place I would check in now and then were I a student here, but as a visitor, it was only a short diversion, not something that I would come a long way to see.
