It was my go to place during weekends. The taste of the soups is a paradise for your taste buds. The bread was so fresh and organic. My favorite soup special was Poisson Graeully. On top of that, the service from the staff was exquisite. They were friendly and make you feel like home especially Lea who was super nice and of course, beautiful. Though being bad in english grammar and had absolute no knowledge of soups, she used to let me know if the soup of the day is beurk or not. She was my wikipedia for French Cuisine and made me fell in love in mussels, escargots which was right across the market and of course wine. #IMoveToMetzIfTrumpWins.

Food is exceptional. Yeah, I have some moral qualms about foie gras...but the creamy, velvety, goose butter scraped over some nicely charred bread is a dish one must try here. My son ordered a ham hock dish--amazed to have something people at home use to flavor greens made into a signature-level dish...falling off the bone, tender as can be, perfectly seasoned. I had the baeckoffe (like a casserole), which was also delectable, but I remain envious of that ham! Ambience is beautiful. The interior has an old world, classic feel. Outside is the usual European patio right next the the bustling sidewalk...the essence of relaxation. Service is fantastic. Helpful and knowledgeable. When I make it back to Colmar, I'll be making another visit.

The first plate came with lobster tail. On the side was crispy bread, mustard and shredded cheese. Put the mustard on the bread and the top it with cheese. Put it in the soup, soak it for a short while and eat. Great combination! The second and third serving came with different kinds of fish. All of high quality. All with very few fishbones. After three plates each the Bouillabaisse was gone...and we were pretty full. A really fantastic meal, great Bouillabaisse. It is only served from two people and up. Other items on the menu looked very good as well. But maybe for another time. Definitely a great restaurant. Starter, bottle of Crémant and Bouillabaisse for two for around 150 Euros. The seafood salad was outstanding-very fresh and beautifully plated. As for entrees the salmon was spectacular. Served over risotto. The fish and chips were tasty but paled in comparison. The deserts were over the top delicious! Highly recommend making a reservation. A perfect foodie spot!
