I often park here when I go to Power Plant or more generally the downtown Baltimore area. Several businesses at Power Plant will validate parking, so it's a good idea to call ahead to the business and see if they still do and what you end up paying after validation (sometimes nothing, sometimes $5). The parking garage is new, clean, and huge. The driveway is not cramped as are other parking garages in the city, and the spaces are evenly spaced so you're not dinging up neighboring cars when you open your door with reckless abandon. Other Yelpers' comments about the kiosk are true; sometimes it takes forever to accept my parking ticket, sometimes it asks me to refeed my credit card, sometimes it just doesn't work and you have to try again. The elevator is slow, but what's slower is having to walk down several flights of stairs, so I think that if you cannot wait, then take the stairs down. read more

This review is less about the parking garage and more specifically about two attendants that were amazing in time of need. I ended up with a flat tire on Pratt St. on a Sunday evening and Pier V garage was the first safe, secure place I could pull in to deal with the issue. My original intent was to pull in and call AAA to come switch out my tire, but when I spoke with the attendant (Brandon C.) at the front, he insisted he could help. When he needed another tire jack, another attendant working (Devin G.) went through his entire trunk to pull his out and helped Brandon finish changing the tire. These two went above and beyond and turned what could have been a completely awful night into one that ended up being a minor hiccup, and an easy fix that I was then able to deal with the next day. I parked in the Pier V garage on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. I arrived around 7:30 and returned to my car around 9:15, only to discover that someone tried to break into my car, via the passenger side front window. The glass was shattered from some type of sharp instrument. I am assuming that once the fool(s) couldn't break the glass, they left. One can only imagine my frustration level. I proceed to leave the garage, but as I was driving out, there was another couple that was parked on the floor below from where I was, whose front passenger window was completely broken. Their car was rummaged through, but nothing was stolen. As I am leaving out, I ask the attendant if there were cameras on the floors and he tells me "no, there are only cameras at the entrance and exit." Unbeknownst to me, I certainly would not have parked here if I knew they do not care about security. I went onto the Pier V website to retrieve the contact information for the person in charge, so I could find out about possible reimbursement. I finally got a call back from a gentleman, whom I assume is the person in charge. He did not care one bit about my car being damage in his garage. He blamed it on "it happens at every garage downtown." Not so much as an apology for now being inconvenienced. NOTHING! If you ever have an event to attend in downtown Baltimore City near Pier V, DO NOT PARK in this garage. They do not care about your vehicle and or if something happens to it. You would think in these days and times, there would be more cameras around an establishment and not just at the entrance and exits. ESPECIALLY FOR CUSTOMER SAFETY. Nice garage centrally located between all of the downtown Baltimore attractions. I visited during the day but it appeared to be secured, staffed and well kept. The garage was pretty full on the first few levels, but I was able to find parking on the 6th Floor of the garage at around 1 PM. It cost $28 to park for about four-five hours. I find that to be reasonable considering that you will spend about half a day in the area (that was the rate for up to 12 hours). Exiting onto Pratt Street was a little confusing, as the entrance and exit were using lanes interchangeably. I will return and use this garage again. read more

Need to agree with previous reviewer convenient but expensive. Arrived on a Wednesday at dinner time to find out parking that evening was $30.00. I proceeded and they handed me a ticket that said "paid". The party I was with, on our visit from Philadelphia, came to find out when we exited that the pavilion behind the parking garage had an artist playing in it later that night. We continued our tour of the harbor after an Orioles game and stopped at Phillips Seafood for dinner. My sister noticed while speaking with the hostess that parking is validated by Phillips ($5.00) for the Pier V garage if you enter after 5:00pm which we surely did. As we exit, I get to the parking garage office to claim my $25.00 with validation in hand realizing there was a mistake. I explained the situation and the attendant and manager both explained to me that there was no way of knowing what time we entered, realizing now the original attendant wasn't giving us time-stamped tickets from the machine but tickets that were already printed. The manager told me that when there are events held at the pavilion they don't except the validation from Phillips Seafood. Because I would know this being a local Philadelphian, and I'm sure others were caught in this predicament as well. When I asked if there was any way to help me out because I wasn't from around there, she said that there was nothing they could do and they only provide that validation service as a favor to Phillips Seafood. And a quick P.S.: We only found out the elevator wasn't working after we parked our car on one of the upper levels and had to walk all the way up the flights because signs were not clearly marked that there was another elevator at the other end of the building. Obviously, if I'm ever back down in the Inner Harbor area I'm not parking here and I wonder how much money The Cordish Company and Pier V Parking is scamming off of people in this way. read more

I park in Pier V parking garage daily for work, and it's has really gone down hill. It's dirty, there's always trash near the cars, or the trash cans are full. There's also a terrible urine odor that lingers on levels 2 and 3. The steps are also in really bad shape. The paint is pealing on the steps which is causing them to be very slippery when it rains. All the money they charge for parking, the employees/management should do a better job at cleaning and maintaining the garage. read more

Update: So now that I have been parking at the Pier V parking for almost a year now I need to update my review. I still think the parking location is convenient, however you just need to be safe. I have had co workers (yes plural) that experienced BREAK-INs several months ago. I think to help they have more employees and officers walking around now looking for suspicious activity. Best parking in Baltimore if you're going to Inner Harbor!! It's right off E. Pratt St, and the rates are reasonable for the inner city. Keep in mind that you wanna get there early, otherwise you might have to climb a few stairways. read more

It's a parking garage. In downtown Baltimore. The End. Lol. No seriously it's right by the Harbor, prices can be a little high if you stay for a few hours, but for us it was free thanks to Power Plant and the happy hour a friend won! There are plenty of spaces and floors and of course there are those amazing ppl that don't know how to stay between the lines, so be courteous and park properly. Upon arrival on Pratt you will see the large garage that has a sign for Pier V on the right. When you pull in you are instructed to take a ticket, keep it with you so you can pay at the end of the night before you go to your car. They do need to add more machines, as there was a line when we were headed back to our car. Some of the elevators did not work, not an issue for us because the steps were right there, but some were not able to take the step, nor was there a sign on our floor to say it was out of order. Would be nice. Other than that. Park. Have fun. Then pay. The End. read more

If we attend an event at Baltimore Soundstage, we always park here. You can get a $7 voucher from the venue or parking attendant. I love coming early before a show starts and walking around Inner Harbor. Pier V is conveniently located near Hard Rock Cafe and the Navy ships. read more

This garage only has cameras at the entrance and top floor. Parked on the first floor. When I came back 2.5 hours later my back window had been smashed in,and my car ransacked. Best part was, I could see the attendant booth as well as the exit from the back of my car. Bottom line, this place has no security. The worst self parking experience. The self pay machine is inoperable; waited 10 minutes for the elevator to arrive, took the stairs; currently in an impossibly long line to leave the garage, 25 minutes and counting. This is painful. read more

The garage itself if easy to maneuver, clean, and spacious. It is also conveniently located adjacent to the aquarium and other attractions. I might have given the garage five stars had it not been for the rude, obnoxious attendant at the garage office. Several other parents from my son's Boy Scout troop and I stopped at the office (individually, at different times) to show our parking validations and request our discount tickets. After returning home, we began talking about the trip and agreed unanimously that interaction with the parking garage attendant was the only negative. Note: Our group spent the night on the USS Torsk and received parking validations, which reduced the overnight parking fee to $10. read more

Came down to meet some people. Said event parking so I thought I would just take the screwing, tried to talk to Stephen while the guard next to him's cigarette smoke blew into the car. The guard was nice and apologized. The great part is that when I came back an hour later the price was back to normal so I went to talk to Stephen again. I knew it was bad when he couldn't be bothered to get off his cell phone. He said "they" raise the price when there are events but since the concert is over (apparently started an hour ago with 2+ left) and laughed. Tiny spaces, crappy employees, no courtesy or respect. Don't park your car in this garage! After we had paid for our overnight parking fee, we had a flat tire. My husband changed the tire in 30 minutes. They charged us for overstanding at the garage!! We had informed the man at the gate before we change the tire. But he said us that 'if you want to go outside pay for 16 Dolar!" We paid 16 dollars for 30 minutes. The next day, I wrote to the manager and told the situation. He said that they are going to refund this fee and they can only do that through the phone. So he never calls me! I will elaborate a bit more on this. Parking for more than an hour here is absurd and overpriced. You're paying for the convenient location... however there are cheaper and just as good places to park!! I recommend parking in little Italy and walking over through the Columbus square. It's a block further but the parking is either free or the lot is cheaper. Granted it's street parking but the area is safe and low key. read more

Convenient (but expensive) parking garage if you are visiting the inner harbor. On the south side of Pratt Street so you don't have to cross the road to get to the aquarium. BUT the Pratt Street elevator doesn't work, so if you need to use the elevator park on the south end, otherwise, you will need to climb the ramp in the traffic lane. Possibly an ADA violation. read more
