This library is super organized and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in til the time you leave. The coolest thing I saw was the backpack you can rent when going to parks/trails that come with a map, binoculars, free park access and so much more. I don't even think people know how much access a library card can give you. Having a library card isn't just for book access. You can rent movies, tapes, computer access, print, fax. You even can have access to free resources such as help with resume, job search, entrepreneurship, business, you name it! I encourage everyone to go to your local library and get yourself a library card for you and your kid(s) if you have any and definitely take good advantage on what they have to offer. The process didn't even take 5 minutes. Even donate if your heart guides you to. P.S. the library card options are actually cute too. Not just a simple boring plastic card. Lol.

The only problem I've had is if I ask to break a $10 bill to pay for some books they just say no. They don't even try and find some ones among the 10 or so employees. And they don't look busy. This library is great, is rather small but has a wonderful selection of books, magazines, movies…read moreand games. They feature a bunch of activities during the month. Like story times, tech help, job club, teen gaming, family game night etc. I totally recommend this library for resources. I gave a minus star because there were plentt of kiddos crying when we visit, so it is hard to enjoy a quiet moment there reading. They do have study rooms and conference rooms but if you need to use their computer then you better bring earphones.

I'm not sure who is responsible for managing these events, but the situation has become ridiculous…read more Children were running everywhere and cutting in front of others, and there was no effort from the librarian to maintain order. Meanwhile, staff closely monitor parents and children who are simply browsing (security included) while large groups of kids run around causing chaos. Attending events here used to be enjoyable, but that's no longer the case. When regular patrons start leaving because of the disorder, it's something that should be taken seriously.

Most, if not all, of the "customers?" are courteous and follow the rules. It's a clean and quiet enough place. Many bathrooms and event rooms and they often have many interesting events going on. The hours vary but they seem to be open every time I've needed to run in and print or check out a book. Another cool thing is, you can print a certain amount for free, and I'm not talking like 1 or 2 pages, it's a good amount I just can't remember it.

I have questions and tried calling only to get a voicemail and no return call over 24 hours later. I have tried emailing cashiering, the running start program and her advisor and getting NO WHERE. Literally, no one is willing to truly help us. If this is what it's going to be like, we will gladly go elsewhere. I hope to be able to update my comment and say that someone finally reached out to us. We will see.

The librarians usually seem to be studiously ignoring patrons and I just used the online resource to ask a librarian a question. She told me to go to another source online which must have left a step out since it didn't work the way she said it would. When I went back for more information, I got a snarky answer in return with a # I could call. The system also told me I would get an appointment time with the answer to my question. I got this email twice and when I asked why I was getting emails I would get an appointment time when I didn't request one (and just wanted a simple answer) she said it was a blip I should ignore. She obviously had no intention of providing anyone with the feedback that inappropriate emails were being sent out. I'm tired of being given inaccurate infx and then without apology being told to ignore it. Being helpful to customers used to be a major or the major job of a librarian and a few years ago they did it with a smile.
