Recently had a fence installed. While there may be other places for a lower price, I don't think you can get a better quality of fence installed. We live in an HOA and they actually completed all of the necessary paperwork that we needed for approval of the fence. We needed a few customizations and they complied without any major costs. I am only providing four stars as I do think there was an issue when we first was working with them to obtain answers pertaining to pricing and etc. once we finally obtained assistance, all was well. Not reading/understanding the fine print I'll accept responsibility. The way I was spoken to and treated after my irrigation system was destroyed by this company is the reason for one star. The "oh well you signed the contract " statements were not warranted . I trusted a reputable company to guide a new customer. When my property was mapped out for fencing my irrigation system was there. No mention of needing to mark it out. On the date of install the forman stated he saw the irrigation system and that it wasn't mapped out. He started the job and notified me AFTER they punctured the system in ELEVEN places. I was rudely told the responsibility is my because I signed the contract. Would it have hurt to have mentioned IRRIGATION prior to starting the project? The contract mentioned UTILITIES. I didn't think of irrigation as such. Please have your irrigation system mapped out to avoid paying for a fence AND new irrigation! read more

I was on a cruise when contacted by your company to replace fencing since they were ahead of schedule or had an opening. I replied that I'd prefer to be home when installers came but was told "most customers are NOT home when installation done". this is why heads weren't marked. I noticed no mention of the concrete over pour...is that the homeowners fault also? read more

Wasted days scheduling and waiting for an estimate consult, only to be called a day later and told I was put of their range during the busy summer season, bit that I could call them back in fall. Needless to say I won't be calling. read more

There's a sentence in the their contract stating that if they (Pierce) damage various items, including a wall, they won't be responsible. It's unfortunate that they're so uncertain of their ability to install a fence without damaging the wall of my house, that they won't remove that one word ("wall") from the contract. Still heavy on snark, light on truth. The U-channels, as you referred to them, are the pieces that are attached to each slat that buts up to a post to give the panel a squared end of which I was given none. If each panel is 4 feet long or 6 feet, I still need the same number of pieces. To repeat myself, and explain to you what you should already be aware, when I pointed this out to your staff, they said they are not included even though your same fencing, and every other vinyl fence I've looked at, has these same trim pieces. Seems that snark is your go to rather then a phone call that most professionally oriented companies prefer. You're really showcasing your lack of concern for CARING about the customer experience and prefer to FEEL like you're right. But hey, you be you. Maybe the next response should come from an adult who won't end up making a mountain out of a mole hill. Did I get that expression right? read more

They made an appointment and never showed. No phone call, nothing. They followed up with a phone call hours later and said that they had cancelled. They did not. My time is just as valuable as theirs. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

They have wonderful customer service that starts beginning to end. From the time I called to scheduled an estimate, to when I made the decision to move forward with the project, Pierce never pressured me in my decision and took the time to answer all of my questions. They completed the project within the specified and all staff was courteous and efficient. In the event that I need additional work completed, I will think of Pierce first. After a four-month long search and bid process, Pierce finally installed our fence last week and did an outstanding job! Their customer service was fantastic throughout the estimate, install, and invoicing process. Pierce's communication was definitely lacking/non-existent with regard to the installation date. Initially, we were told 4-6 weeks from contract to install. At week 6 we called for an update and were told we were up next. Halfway through week 7, we received a call from the installer at 7:15am inquiring if anyone would be home that day for them to come out to begin install and obtain a signature of layout approval. I was planning to work from home (a rare event) but it worked out conveniently. When the installers arrived, I asked if the lack of notice was normal or an exception due to the holiday the day prior - I was told it was normal practice. We made two changes since the initial estimate that were handled with ease, one of which made the install tricky, getting under our deck. It was discussed with the installer prior to work beginning and we are very pleased with how the whole fence, particularly that difficult area came out. Lastly, when I called to pay the remaining balance after the installation was complete, I asked if in no hurry, someone could come out to install a few wire clips as it seemed two areas had been missed. I insisted no rush - the installer called hardly a half hour later to let me know he was on his way over. All in all, Pierce was great, the fence looks awesome, and we - dog included - are very happy. read more

Pierce Fencing installed a 4' vertical picket vinyl fence with 1 single gate, and 1 double, racked, gate. It's absolutely beautiful!! In my head, I imagined it would be lovely, and really complement the vinyl railing our builder put around our deck and stairs, but in actuality, it's stunning. We've already had several neighbors stop us in the yard to find out who to call about getting an estimate. Karen, Bob Sr and Bob Jr were great about working around our construction schedule and closing date, so that the fence could be started on the day we closed on the house. The crew was courteous, professional, and exacting in the lengths they went to, to make sure the fence was exactly as it should be. They worked with the slope of the property, including suggesting, and building, a racked gate, to create this beautiful line that compliments the house perfectly. My fence came out gorgeous. It was installed so well and exactly how I wanted. There was a little confusion on the permit but once that was sorted out everything went smoothly. The project manager for my fence was timely and professional. Only a small part of my yard was dug up for New fence post but other then that the grass wasn't damaged at all. read more
