I see some reviews from people who know or have family there. I was a patient myself in rehab. I…read morehad fractured my hip at home. I will be quite honest in how i say things per different aspects of care and other things. Food generally good to just ok. Some of the nursing people were super sweet and helpful. Some were not. In waiting for help to use the bathroom as I think most know they don't want you to do things alone. I finally went on my own. I had made some mess. The nurse who finally answered the call was mad at me for making a mess. I should had waited I was told. It already was 30 minutes or more i waited. There was a night nurse who was handing out meds. Two things about this. I at times asked what is this pill. She took an attitude with me. All your meds are listed on some papers they gave me. I told her, those papers don't say its a red pill or blue capsule or any description so i know which is which. This happened a few times. During the day when I asked a med nurse a question, i was told of a med i know longer take regularly and not taken for a long time. This not a complaint on this nurse. But of the facility. I told them i no longer take this and why is it still on the list of meds i take. One med i needed it took some arm twisting to get. I wanted an anti-inflammatory as it helped me get moving more and do better in rehabing quicker. This partly the hospital I think in maybe not putting on list of needed drugs as i had to twist the hospital dr to give me it. It was helping me progress. I'm no druggie. I wasn't wanting to get hooked on OxyContin. I only took when i felt bad enough. Some other nurses had an attitude. The front office was an issue too. I hope i never go there again if i ever need a Rehab or Nursing need. I just need to at least give some credit for some of the nursing there. Some of the people there should not be working with the public. I'll stop here.

. "I am extremely…read moredisappointed with the quality of care at Westmoreland Rehab in Knoxville, Tennessee. My sister was admitted for rehabilitation, but instead of receiving the help she needed, her condition worsened significantly. During her stay, she developed severe skin breakdowns, pneumonia, and a C. difficile UTI. These are conditions that are often preventable with proper care, but it was clear that attention to basic health needs was lacking. The staff seemed overwhelmed or indifferent, with minimal attention to her comfort or medical requirements. There was a noticeable lack of communication and follow-up on her issues, making it feel like her well-being wasn't a priority. this facility was recommended by blount memorial hospital We accepted this facility with the hope that it would provide the support and rehabilitation she needed, but it fell drastically short. I would not recommend Westmoreland Rehab to anyone seeking a safe and attentive environment for their loved ones.

No. They prolong your care to keep longer. Like not getting physical therapy on a regular schedule…read more Wound care is great when they are on the schedule everyday. Lpn's and cna's do what they are allowed to do. If you need meds you have to wait days to get it. Like antibiotics. Nurse practitioner has to do that. They order bloodwork at 2 in the morning. It is very hard to sleep here and then that. They also do not bill tenncare correctly. Administration here sucks. My cna's are awesome and do the work of 3 people. They have staff. Food is horrible processed. Not freshly cooked. They base your quality of care on what kind insurance you have. They almost let me die here in September of 2024. Needed trachea surgery. I had to call ambulance myself. No I do not recommend this place and I am here.

This review is worth the read. Asbury Place does not prioritize its residents' well-being. Since…read morethe change in ownership and management within the past year, conditions have not improved. The kitchen staff lacks customer service skills, and their manager is rarely visible on the floor to engage with residents or seek feedback on their dining experience. Rather than leading by example, he treats the staff as though he is above them, missing opportunities to inspire a cohesive, motivated team working toward a shared goal. Unfortunately, he appears to use his position without striving to improve food quality, pricing, or the overall resident experience. It's truly surprising that he remains in charge, and the fact that the executives continue to support him suggests they, too, are not invested in residents' satisfaction. I do not recommend Asbury Place. Please reconsider before sending your loved ones here.

His wound he developed on his rear end was the worst one a hospice nurse had seen in her 20+ years working by her words. They never turned him, starved him by him being a feeder and not assisting him with meals, and dehydrated him. They are horrible nurses, no empathy, and I can prove it with pics of his bed sore. Do NOT send your loved one there if you care for them at all. I have to live with that decision to send my dad there the rest of my life.

My hubby and I toured the facility and met the manager, and the resident doctor. The first impression was how clean it was, and how friendly the staff was. Mom said the food was better than UT. I noticed many senior employees, which is great cause I also am a senior. Like to see them mentoring the younger employees.Everyone had a smile, and were super kind. I think this will be a home run for mom. There are lots of activities. Wheel chair races, beautiful yard, rockers on the front porch, music playing people singing. Very secure, code to push to get in the front door. Greeter in office.
