Shout out to John Hennessey at Ascot Shop. In from Baltimore for a black tie wedding and clueless…read moreon how to tie my bow tie. I called Ascot Shop the day before the affair and John put me at ease by telling me to come to the shop prior to the wedding and assuring me somebody will tie my tie. Accordingly, I walked in to Ascot Shop in shorts, flip flops and tux shirt and John says "you're the guy that needs some help". Minutes later, I walked out and took multiple compliments the rest of the night about how I tied such a great looking tie. Thanks John, I owe you. Joe Nolan

My venture in finding a new wallet was achieved in store, but I also left with a new sport jacket and pocket square for a fun evening out on the town. John's knowledge in tailoring expertise ensured me that I was getting the best fit possible. The look was not complete without a pocket square. That was the cherry on top of the sundae. I walked out of the store feeling confident, stylish, yet true to my aesthetics. I recommend The Ascot Shop La Jolla as the premier destination for men's fashion with service to match high-quality goods. I will certainly return during my next trip to Ja Jolla in search for the new pieces to upgrade my wardrobe.

His knowledge of western wear, attention to detail, and eye for matching colors, materials, and styles made the entire process easy and enjoyable. What impressed me the most was the level of craftsmanship and customer service. Enrique custom-fitted and handcrafted an ostrich skin belt for me right there in the shop to ensure it fit perfectly. That level of dedication and expertise is something you rarely find anymore. He also recommended an excellent local tailor who completed the final alterations, making the entire experience seamless. Everyone at the store was courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find exactly what I was looking for. Their selection is not only extensive, but the quality of their western wear is unlike anything I've found elsewhere. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality western clothing and exceptional customer service, I can't recommend El Centenario enough. Enrique and his team went above and beyond, and I'll definitely be coming back for future purchases.
