When visiting Paris I came here with my traveling companions to grab some tasty macaroons that we heard were so popular and tasty.... and they sure lived up to their reputation! One word- Yummy- is what these macaroons are. There were so many different flavors from strawberry, chocolate, lime and hazelnut. We had made our selections and hadn't noticed that they charged an extra 5 bucks just to put it in a fancy box. So we ended up paying over 33 dollars for 12 macaroons- which to think about is kind of insane- but thinking about how good they tasted- they were so worth it! If I'm ever in Paris again- I'd be sure to come back here and have some more!

Oh my!! The most exquisite macarons for 35 euros.

Pierre Hermé are the most exquisite macarons that will ever touch your palate. It's an upscale version of delectable pastries. I have heard of this brand before but never had the chance to try it since they only have dessert boutiques in Paris and NY. This pastry shop is small but there is a huge selection of sweets including chocolates, macarons and other mini desserts. We took the train all the way out here which took about 20 minutes. Then the 11-hour flight back home. After all that travel, they were perfectly delicious when I devoured them the next day. The sales lady was so friendly and able to speak English. She picked out some of the most popular flavors for my box of 12. The most noteworthy was the hybrid flavor of pistachio/raspberry and the passion fruit. Trust me once you have tasted Pierre Hermé no other macarons will entice you. These have the most delicate texture and melts in your mouth. The filling is intricate and the flavors are amazing. If you love macarons as much as I do then these will definitely make your heart skip a beat! Each macaron holds it's own individuality with unique colors and flavors. I was so impressed and will definitely stop here again when in Paris!

I absolutely LOVE this place. If you aren't a pastries fan, you will be after you try the pastries at Pierre Herme. I came here with my brother who claims that he doesn't like sweets... Once he took a bite of the PH goods, his eyes rolled back and he was converted!! Everything's soooo good here. Especially the cranberry croissant , macaroons, and the pistachio cake. My tummy just growled thinking about it... I wish we had one in the states. I would eat it everyday! On second thought... maybe it's a good thingy that it's not here... for my figure anyways. haha

Absolutely delish macrons for the small price of your first born! Yes, the cookies are delish but they are definitely a splurge not an everyday purchase. I paid $35.00 for a box of 12 varieties. They had standard flavours like chocolate, vanilla but they also had strange flavours like rose water and olive oil.

Pierre Herme is like Laduree's hip younger sister with it's non-traditional explosive flavors! The flavor combinations are so interesting. I do wish the macarons were just a bit chewier though. Nonetheless they are so heavenly. Beautiful store, adorable boxes and great customer service. **Unlike PH's slightly stuffy older brother, you can take two pictures in this store. Yes Asian tourists, you heard me right! But don't piss off the staff, "Only two!"

Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Incredible service and incredible food. Yes, yes you should make your way here for a sample. Yes, yes you should have all of the lovely buttery and varied delights. Yes, yes the service is that amazing that you wonder if this is customer service heaven. Yes, yes you should lie to your nutritionist about this. Its that good.

    Sooo delicious!

Macarons!!!! So delicious! A lot of different and unique flavors packed nicely in a box. Pricey for macarons though! About 12.50 euros for 7 macarons! Boo! Laudree was closed and I decided to come here instead. It was a good choice but expensive! Be prepared to spend the big bucks.

I prefer going to this location rather than in Galeries Lafayette shopping center. It is more organized and the staff is very friendly. Pierre Hermé is without a doubt, the best patisserie. My favorite macaron in the world is the passion fruit/dark chocolate. I could eat them every day!

I went into two Pierre Herme locations, the first one did not have much of a selection (only macaroons) and the other one, which is this location, has more to choose from. Both of the locations are small but their pastries will not disappoint! The macaroons were the best tasting macaroons I have ever had. They are incredibly soft and crunchy at the same! Just pure perfection! The other pastries are made with the same perfect quality! Even their day old croissants (which they have half off) are still the freshest croissant I have ever had. Only down side is that it is expensive but worth every penny!

Awesome staff and amazing desserts! The lady here walked me through all their unique macarons (with names like Arabesque) and told me a few of her favorites as well. I ended up getting the Tarte Infiniment Vanille, and four macarons (chocolate/passionfruit, rose/lychee, jasmin/strawberry, chocolate). I would highly recommend the rose/lychee and chocolate/passionfruit but I'm sure you can't go wrong here. I would absolutely come back to try their other desserts!

Had no idea this place was so good. I was strolling around montparnasse and the store front caught my attention. Let me just put it this way: this is paradise for dessert lovers. Since I didn't know the hype of Pierre Hermes and came in completely oblivious of the strength this brand has, I came in and chose two pieces of sweet arbitrary. And my oh my, did I have the time of my life eating it. Worth. Every. Cent.

This place is just simply awesome. The macarons are simply that good and tasted like nothing back in the States. It's not too sweet and was just perfect. We purchased Macarons as gifts. I can't wait to come back the next time in Paris.

tl;dr you ought not miss the signature chocolate mousse bar; this was one of the few eats in Paris…read morethat I made sure to have twice Chocolate mousse can be found at bistros across Paris, but few spots are as highly recommended as Chapon. This chocolate boutique was founded in the 80s by Patrice Chapon, once an ice cream purveyor for Buckingham Palace. Since then, he introduced his now-famed bar a mousse concept, allowing chocolate enthusiasts to sample made-in-house varieties of mousse sourced from cocoa beans across the world. I first visited a Chapon outpost on a quiet side street of Saint-Germain-des-Pres. You might miss the narrow storefront and brown awning on first glance, but melon-sized bowls of mousse in the window are unmistakable. The interior is warmly lit, featuring tastefully worn wood motifs. The backlit shelves to the right are curated with prepackaged confections, while the display to the left is decked with à la carte chocolates. We arrived for an early afternoon treat, and the friendly service patiently talked us through and offered samples of multiple mousse varieties. My favorite was the Equadorian, a dark, full-bodied flavor with some floral notes. I also enjoyed my sister's Madagascar, which had a thickness and richness reminiscent of caramel. My mother opted for the lighter, fluffier Peruvian, which was nearly the consistency of meringue. Lastly, the 100% dark Venezuelan had the thickest texture; however, the red wine-y flavor might turn some off. While the mousse is delicious, the prices might be harder to swallow; our 3 small portions ran over 20 euros. Nonetheless, I was impressed by the staff's ability to suggest an ideal mousse to suit each of our preferences. For a unique experience and a mousse that is sure to impress, don't miss out on Chapon.

Some are stronger dark chocolate flavors and some are medium to light. I decided to get the one with 60% chocolate from Ecuador. As delicious as it was, for 7 euros in a small cup was way overpriced. Page put about 2 scoops that weren't even full. The mousse didn't even go all the way to the bottom of the cup, which it definitely should for the price. I wouldn't necessarily spend 7 euros for this again, but it's definitely yummy to try once when in Paris.

The best chocolate, caramel, and fruit jelly shop in Paris…read more I've bought other chocolates around Paris and while pretty in color, it didn't meet my expectation. I brought back souvenirs of the chocolate and loved the flavors and the packaging. The staff even wrote expiration date on each of the containers and packaged in cool bags so that it can withstand the flight. Back at home, everything tasted good but it just didn't do justice from what I was able to taste in real time. The chocolate melts in your mouth and had lots of flavor, the jelly is addictingly good, and my favorite was the caramel. It's creamy, soft, and chewy without sticking to your teeth. I regret not getting the 1KG but it was around $200. All the chocolates, jelly, and caramel had variety of delicious flavors and hands down, a must stop in Paris. While waiting, they also have sofas that you can lounge on and saw many tour groups come by, which made me panic since we were waiting on our chocolates getting packaged and waiting to purchase the caramels and jelly. Luckily, most left after a quick briefing on the history, but it also affirmed that this spot was legit. Do note that these don't last long. Chocolates and caramel last 2 weeks and jelly lasts a week. I wouldn't suggest bringing back the jellies since it turned colors during the flight and was sticky.

Lunch reservations for Pierre Hermé is always a good idea. This one is inside the Bonmarché complex…read more- just walk to the back of the large entryway with all the restaurants We had a small drama over our table as I'm guessing they thought we did not have a reservation so they wanted to seat us by the entrance while all these other tables, in the empty restaurant, had "reserved" signs on them. After pointing out again we also had a reservation, we were seated inside at one of the better tables with the placard & not right beside the door which was constantly opening. So eventually things worked out & all was well The food definitely made up for the table miscommunication as it was over the top delicious. Mr chose the mushroom French toast with mushrooms and hazelnut cream. It was pudding-like and very strong mushroom flavor which was delightful I chose the roasted cauliflower and it was likewise superb. Roasted and marinated cauliflower with yellow florets, pine nuts, pomegranate seeds and puréed cauliflower base. Dessert included 2 passion fruit & a pistachio macaron. Intense flavors, soft cookie Food perfection all around!

Their desserts have a lower price for carry out btw. I ordered the 2000 feuilles, Jardin japonais, strawberry tart and 3 macaroons. For the 2000 feuilles, it's like a Napoleon with hazelnut in between. It somewhat taste like ferrer rocher in a way. It's my favorite out of the 3 since I like hazelnut and it's not too sweet. They also did a really good job with the Napoleon part for the dessert. As for Jardin japonais, it has a matcha flavored top with yuzu cream at the bottom. It's light, not too sweet. I only got a bit from the strawberry tart and it seems alright. Overall, I'll definitely try other things if I come back. Btw, they have some macaroons flavor that you can't find elsewhere
