Very FUDDy shop. Mostly geared towards hunters. Selection is good on hunting rifles and safes, prices are competitive, but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is generally VERY busy, which seems to have a negative impact on their demeanor. There are better places to hit up in the area. read more

Friendly staff and fair prices. I went there to trade in a firearm in exchange for a larger caliber, I got a fair price on my trade-in and was able to walk out with a new gun within moments. Ammo prices may not be as good as a large chain like Wal-Mart, but I'd rather pay a little more to save a trip and support a local business any day. read more

I called this store regarding a Smith and Wesson M and P M20 4.25 inch barrel. The man told me he had it. I called back again and asked a couple more questions and asked if it was the m20 version and he said yes. I told him I would be in within an hour. I went to the store in Crap weather an hour drive, only to find that it was the 4 inch version and then he told me we must have just sold it, Really and you don't remember that within the last hour? The man seemed very confused when I first arrived and thought I wanted the M and P Shield. He acted like he couldn't give two Craps about it. I will never give them business again. Wasted my Gas and only day off in weeks for this unimpressive store. If you choose to do business with this place fine, but if you call and ask a question about something being in stock beware it probably isn't. Very disappointed. read more

Despite being warned about this places customer service i called to see if they had a part i needed. They stated they had it. I confirmed the part number twice with the guy and he said he had it in his hand. I drove 45 minutes to the store, then had to wait 20 minutes in store while the two slow pokes tried to help some other customers then i find out they dont have the part, he " thought only the last two numbers of the part mattered" not ALL of the numbers. I just wasted over an hour and 45 minutes with him, i explained that and all i get is a shrug. My friend ordered a gun from this guy, he never called when it came in and left him waiting for months then another hour in the store when he arrived to pick it up he said he would never return and now i wont either. I have shopped at this gun shop since about 1998 . never had a problem until recently..... I went in with my eleven year old son for a youth rifle . we found one and while looking came across a used rifle I was interested in. I looked down the barrel on the one I wanted and it had some blemishes in the barrel. I took both up the counter and stated I was interested in both if the barrel was just dirty..an older heavy set guy that I believe is the uncle walked over and what I needed in a pretty shit-y tone. I asked the older guy if he could run a patch down the barrel so I could make sure it wasn't rust . I explained I would take both guns if it wasn't .. he rolled his eyes and made a gesture as if I was a hassle .. he ran the patch down the barrel once and pushed the gun across the counter and stated "I don't have time for this . youll have to do it." within seconds the woman who works there (seeing everything that happened ) came over to me and asked if she could help. I didn't want to buy a thing due to the ignorance of the old buck but my son had his heart set on the rossi package he chose.. I will give credit to the woman who waited on me . I wish I could remember her name to give her credit.. she was professional and personable so I bought my son the gun however passed on the other due to the other guys attitude..i work in law enforcement and many of my coworkers have been shopping there for decades . many of them are saying the service just isn't the same and have opted for other gun stores...i will say though, they have reasonable prices and a good selection but the service is spotty ..I guess it depends who waits on you..good luck read more
