They put the dogs in cages, stacked floor to ceiling, in a tiny room with signs banning entry, so owners don't know how badly their animals are being treated. From the time the daycare closes at 7:00pm until after 7:00am the next morning there is no one there, and the dogs are stuck in little cages for 12+ hours. There is just a camera in the room and who knows if they monitor that. They make a show of putting some cats roaming freely in an office off reception, but they won't show you where they actually stick the dogs who are boarding there: in tiny cages that are off-limits and behind closed doors. I saw the disgusting room because a lovely person in reception told me to avoid boarding there, and showed me the room even though they could have been fired. The people who work in the daycare are fabulous, but the woman who runs the place, Vanessa, is super sweet to your face and takes your money, and then shoves your dog, alone and scared, in a small room and lies to you about someone being there. Oh, also, Vanessa steals tips. The people who work there are so lovely (and you should tip them!!!) but NEVER let Vanessa see you do it, she'll take it for herself, because "they owe her." NEVER GO HERE FOR ANYTHING.

I have a crazy life; I'm frequently (see: weekly) being sent out of country for work, to include overseas, and Pawse has been there for me every step of the way. However, on the third day I received an email saying she could no longer handle my dog which left me scrambling to coordinate with another boarder while I was not even in the province to do so. Her reason? My dog wants to chase squirrels and is sometimes reactive to bicycles. She also told me my dog demanded so much attention in the house that she was unable to use her computer or even shower! At least I was fully refunded but I could have done without the extra stress while trying to enjoy my vacation.

I asked to see the facilities before doing any transaction and he just pointed to the area where the dogs were keep. These people should not be allowed to run a kennel. The place is on the side of a major highway. There are no dog runs and the property is not fenced at all. You read it right NO FENCE AT ALL. Dogs are keep in small cages all day and, according to the unfriendly owner, they are taken out for a short leashed walk once or twice a day. I was planning to leave my dog there while visiting Montreal, but when I saw the place, unsafe and scary, to say the least, plus the unfriendly owner I decided not to leave my dog there even for an hour.

NO WAY FOR THE DOGS TO EXIT. And the huge field adjacent is not fensed in! It is, in fact, the huge front lawn of an enormous mansion!!! Finally, I was told I had to pick up my dog early in the morning or at 6:00 p.m. as NO ONE WILL BE HERE IN THE DAY!!! That means the kennel is left unattended for 7-8 hours each day, and I suppose over night. Pathetic!
