Since it's a small airport, each time it was on a regional jet. It was a quick in and out with everything very easy to find. TSA security screening was very low stress to get through. The rental cars were in the building off to the right as you exit.

This place was very clean, nice bathrooms and the called me over the radio to ask if I needed fuel and directed me to where I need to go. Very friendly staff. I can't wait to fly back down here again. I was also told they have a huge helicopter fly in that would be fun to come see.

This is by far the tiniest airport I've ever been to. It's essentially two hallway. One has the…read moreticket and rental car counters and the other is the security line with a pizza place. Once through security there is one waiting room for the two gates. Although gates is a fancy way of saying doors because you walk directly onto the runway and to your plane. Security was very thorough. They pulled both my bags and the guys that was behind me. They found nothing in my backpack of interest but took my face wash from my suitcase, which had made it through Ft. Lauderdale just fine. They spent several minutes rechecking the x-ray footage a couple times, so I can see where this can get backed up if they pull a ton of bags. Once through security your only food option is a small kiosk from the pizza place offering pizza, popcorn, snacks and drinks. The good thing about this airport is the route from FLL is not super popular so both flights were only half full with plenty of room for everyone to spread out.

The inside of the airport is quite welcoming with a nice counter as well as your typical GA facilities. The kitchen feels much like my home kitchen, with a sign reminding you to do your own dishes. Love it. Snack machine is about all the food you'll find on site, but you'll also find fuel and any services you may need to make the next leg. The only thing that was somewhat wrong with this airport was the amount of "Coal is our future" signs around the terminal. When you see the landscape around the airport, it's kinda sad as you literally witness the mountains being chipped away for coal. But hey, it makes for a nice golf course. Would love to stop by again.

They stoled the flight log book,closed to doors and took off when my husband told them it was a safety of flight issue. Making their own tires measurements so the can run them like truckers do. Run them until they fall off. FLY AT YOUR OWN RISK. THIS IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG WITH THEIR UNSAFE PRACTICES.

They had a special going on that day and stuff for kids. They seemed unorganized to say the least. Had to give drink order 3 times...got coffee and it was cold..I mean like the pot had been turned off cold and it been sitting. I told the server who finally brought fresh and my water finally. Just ordered sandwiches and chili..the sandwiches and fries were fine..but the chili had a good flavor but had not been heated. I mean it was cold as well...after all that I didn't even complain...also they offered 10% off the bill that night for coming..charged full price. I won't be going back.
