I was just a visitor here while my wife-unit taught a class one day. They must be doing something right, the kids asked great questions and were very well behaved. I took one star away because some proven scientific knowledge about the age of the earth conflicted with the age of the earth according to the bible (6000 years) and so wife was asked not to talk about ages of various fossils. I'm not sure that pandering to some weird religious beliefs that conflict with known scientific fact serves anybody's educational needs. I suggested that perhaps an alternate activity could have been offered for those who would be traumatized by knowing the ages of fossils. Something like "Inherit the Wind." read more
