We are getting married in June and could not be happier, and Lori has played such an important role in helping us build a healthier, stronger relationship. I've seen many therapists and couples counselors throughout the years, and Lori is truly the best. Lori is the absolute best. She is compassionate, understanding, and creates such a safe and comfortable environment where we both feel heard and supported. Maria is, hands down, the most incredible therapist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I…read morehave been with Maria for about a year now, and I know she will be a part of my life forever. I have grown in ways I couldn't have even imagined- I have learned how to set boundaries, I have found more confidence, peace, and self-love, and most of all, I have had such a supportive space to work through grief. One thing I really love about Maria is that she humanizes the hardships I bring into each session in a way that makes them feel much less isolating. I have also always been on some form of medication, but with Maria, we work through the root of each problem so that I am in a place where I no longer need a band-aid to numb the pain. She has taught me how to work through it instead so that I can heal. She is truly amazing and gifted at what she does. She also offers group therapy and retreats, which are an amazing place to find community, support, and people who can relate. I think getting immersed in group and retreat settings has helped me go so much deeper, gain courage, and feel strong in the knowledge that I am not alone. Maria has always made me feel heard, seen, valued, and never alone. She truly cares about her clients and has such a big heart. I could not say enough good things about her to truly show the impact she has made on my life. If you want deep healing and a caring therapist, Maria is absolutely for you.

I've been to this facility twice, and unfortunately my overall experience was pretty disappointing…read more The first time around, I was initially assigned an associate therapist who seemed to still be in training. They were polite, but the sessions felt very scripted and a bit robotic, which made it hard to connect. After that, I was reassigned to a therapist named Rita. I really wanted to give it a fair shot, but I often left sessions feeling like I wasn't fully heard or understood. At times, the tone felt a bit judgmental, even if that may not have been the intention, and it made it hard to feel comfortable opening up. Eventually, I was told that my symptoms had improved and that I might not need to continue therapy. When I shared that I still felt like I needed support, the response came across as somewhat dismissive rather than collaborative. After a while of feeling misunderstood, I ended up canceling a few sessions and eventually stopped going. About nine months later, I decided to try again and requested a new therapist since Rita was no longer there. I came in feeling hopeful, but the experience quickly took a turn. I was matched with Gabriella, and early in the session she focused heavily on my past cancellations, even though I explained they were due to not feeling heard before. She also mentioned concerns about me potentially being "dependent" on therapy because I've been in therapy for several years, which didn't feel fair or accurate to me. I tried to express that I wasn't feeling a good connection and that the approach felt more like an interrogation than a supportive conversation. Instead of things improving, I felt more uncomfortable, to the point where I became emotional and asked to end the session early. I've been to different therapists and mental health facilities before, so I understand that not every match will be perfect. But this experience stood out in a negative way. It didn't feel like a safe or welcoming space to be vulnerable, and that's really the most important part of therapy.
