For example, if you pay for unlimited classes, sign up in advance (like the studio asks you to do) and then have a life event happen less than two hours before your scheduled class (say you get a flat tire, you have to work late on a project, someone gets sick - normal things that happen to people who don't have lives that revolve around Pure Barre), the studio feels ENTITLED TO MORE of your money. That's right. They'll take an extra $15 from your bank account or your credit card. Clearly they only care about making money. Look elsewhere for a fair-minded workout. There are plenty of other options here in the city. Give your money to people who don't look for every opportunity to cheat you out of it.

Well, that's exactly what we found when we discovered District 6 Fitness! This gym is exactly what we wanted. It's conveniently located just a block off Broad St. in Southside, just down from Southside Social and the Jump Park. The interior is gorgeous exposed brick and wood beam ceiling with tons of natural light. The Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment is brand new and state of the art. They have group exercise classes like Step, POUND, Circuit, Bootcamp, Pilates, Yoga, Zumba, BARRE, Tabata and more. District 6 also has certified trainers for personal training. We could not be happier that we found such a great place close by. I can pull right up and park for free just feet away from the front door too, no getting in the middle of downtown hassle. Everyone is super friendly & welcoming here! The studio is impeccably clean & well kept. All the equipment is top notch & well cared for. The instructor (Sarah) for my first class at this studio taught an amazing control & balance class. I've been doing Pilates for about 7 months now (at a different studio before I moved) and it was wonderful to get back into it! Looking forward to making Hamilton Place my new home studio!
