Established in 2015.

Michael Hamilton started in the home inspection business in 2015 and purchased the local franchise, Pillar To Post Home Inspectors of North Central Washington in 2016. Pillar To Post is the largest home inspection company in North America, established in 1993. There are now over 550 franchises across the US and Canada. Pillar To Post is ranked as the #1 home inspection franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine.

Meet the Business Owner: Michael H.

My name is Michael, and I grew up in the Wenatchee Valley and returned in 2016 to raise our 4 children here, with my lovely wife, Donna. Prior to moving back to Wenatchee, I had started a home inspection business in Idaho, after being a full-time teacher for 9 years. I was a teacher, coach, and assistant athletic director. I also have spent many summers in construction and maintenance, along with owning rental properties. I started this business because I love helping people. Educating my clients on some of the most important purchases in their lives, so that they can make informed decisions regarding the sale, purchase or continued maintenance of their home is our goal. It would be our pleasure to help you with your inspection needs.

On a personal level he is fun to talk to and is willing to have you tag along with him through out the inspection. His reports are long (around 100 pages), detailed and accompanied with pictures. He might be a bit more expensive than most ($50-$100 more, depending on the size of the property), but there is a good reason for that. My feeling is that on such a large purchase as a home it's worth to pay a little more for an exceptional inspector that will save you much more than you paid for him in the long run. He works for YOU and not for the agents. His inspections are there to educate you about your soon to be purchase and not to steer you in any direction. Great person and company. I 100% recommend him. Grass was pretty much dead and patches of moss in places and years of bunched up leaves just pushed to the edges of the yard. There was a complete ecosystem living in those years of leaves and took a lot of time to clean up and then work the algae or moss out and get rid of all the mushrooms. They went through my sprinkler system, did a thorough cleaning, pruned trees, and many other stuff that they just went above and beyond on. Helped out during the fall with sprinkler blow out and snow clean up too. Did such a great job that I've asked them to come back once spring comes around so we can concentrate on the initial spring cleaning/touch up and then just maintaining after that.
