We have an email confirmation for the appointment that say the appointment is at 8:00 am and that the electrician will call us before the scheduled appointment time on the day of the appointment. At 8:10 the electrician had not called and was not at the house so we called to inquire about the ETA. We were told that the electrician had not yet left the office and needed to pick up supplies on the way to our house. We reminded the person on the phone that the appointment was scheduled for 8:00 am and he argued with us. We have the appointment confirmation in writing. What's to argue? It doesn't say, "The electrician will leave at 8:10 to go get supplies for your 8:00 am appt and will actually arrive at 8:30 or 8:45." It says the appt is at 8:00 and that the electrician will call before the scheduled appointment time. Being respectful of people's time is important to us. Setting expectations and then meeting them is a reasonable task for any business. Arguing with customers when expectations are not met is disappointing and unprofessional. We can't recommend them.

I hired them to install a 220v outlet right beside my service panel. It initially took about two…read morehours, including a trip to buy the materials, which seemed reasonable to me. The electrician chose to install a raised electrical box on top of the drywall, which was his preference. It didn't matter to me how it was installed. While installing it, he mistakenly broke two drywall anchors, which left the box a little loose. He told me it shouldn't be an issue and I was satisfied with the job. I get a call from him about two hours later and he asks to come back to re-install the outlet inside the wall because he's concerned that it won't pass inspection or at some point it will loosen and become dangerous. I appreciated his concern and attention to safety and invited him back to re-install it. The re-install took a little over an hour. Like the previous time, I was happy with the job and his level of professionalism. A few days later, I received their invoice and found that they charged me for both the install and re-install and for all the parts from the botched install. I paid the invoice in full and attached a letter to the check explaining what happened. The check was cashed a few days later and the letter was ignored. I think most other electricians would have owned up to the mistake and not charged to return (especially considering that I didn't ask them to come back). These folks do great work, but lost a couple stars for integrity.

I was expected weeks based on how busy electricians are in the valley. Jermey was friendly and did a professional job. He also noticed some bad wiring done by a past electrician and was able to resolve the issue. I will definitely be calling Beckstead for any future electrical needs!

No more leaks and overpriced plastic parts that can only be replaced by the Kinetico dealer. I went with a 3M whole house water filter recommended by Ben, with all new copper plumbing and a new pressure regulator. I can change the water filter myself, which is recommended to do least once a year. I am confident of the new system and no longer worried about another Kinetico part failure. The 3M water filter recommended by Ben at Patriot Plumbing lead to immediate improvement in our water quality. No more chlorine taste or smell. This system uses a carbon block filter that works better for us than the water softener. I will use Patriot Plumbing again if and when needed.

Federal Electrical came out at short notice to help us with one of those awful "sometimes the…read morelights go out" problems and did a really good job. They inspected and then recommended that we ask PSE out to make sure there wasn't a "to the house" problem. PSE came and checked things out - no problem, but the PSE guy was impressed: "They potentially saved you a lot of money if it was us, definitely the right thing to do" Federal then came out again and identified & resolved a faulty breaker on our main panel - no problems since! Great job, nice people, reasonably priced and would 100% use them again!

Shane was sent to me through AHS home warranty to repair my central air system. He was great! He…read morehad mapped out exactly what I needed and I expected him to return to complete the repair. Unfortunately, AHS decided that Salcido would do the repair. They were okay but weren't as communicative as Shane had been as far as telling me what was going on and how things would be fixed. Salcido finished the job - using a different thermostat than what Shane had installed during his initial visit. The A/C worked so no problem - except it kept switching on and off on auto mode. I thought that the thermostat was more sensitive or something so I didn't pay much attention. Then I got my electric bill and about had heart failure. It was huge! It was nearly double what it had been for the same month during the previous year. Thankfully, I had saved the thermostat that Shane had initially installed and put it back on. No more on and off cycling and no more huge bills! I definitely wish Shane had been allowed to do the entire project. As I write this, it's now three years later and the heat is out. I've done all I know to do and have submitted a claim through AHS again and got the message that Shane will be contacting me for the repair within 24 hours. I will be crossing my fingers that he gets to handle the entire project!
