Out of many years of gas station and truck stop stops, this visit…read morestands out as outstandingly bad on two fronts: 1) major chaotic pile-up of vehicles at the pumps. rolling in and backing in from all directions, major confusion. seems they really need to fix the layout or create signage to direct people. 2) really bad quality / old / broken loudspeaker above pumps, and ceiling speakers inside, blasting terrible crotch-rock. Worst audio assault I've heard at a truck stop or gas station.

It disapointing when one of your favorite places becomes "just another place". I'm my humble opinion, Lisa's was much better off when it was just a hole-in-the-wall mom and pop truck stop.. it had a charm that actually made me willing to wait patiently for one of the six tables and have an amazing meal. Now that they added on a considerable sized addition,it seems that the folks at Lisa's care more about being BIG than better. I refuse to be treated improperly by anyone who want me to spend my hard earned money in their establishment and it started when it tokl a full 15 minutes for the server to even acknowledge my buddy Richard and I. I ordered a chef salad and an enchilada plate and was told that I couldn't have my salad first and they in fact came out at the same time, on paper plates... with cheap plastic utensils. I can honestly say, If I wanted to eat on paper plates, I could've had a better meal by warming up something in the microwave in the truck. I hope the folks at Lisa's Truck Center create whatever it is they are trying to turn this once beloved stop in to, but they will have to do it without my patronage. I wish you the best.

My husband had just the egg white, bell pepper, hashbrown burrito he doctored it up with sea salt and pepper. Everything is made fresh and it was greatly appreciated and again the staff was great. Some of the workers that work on the building are a bit aggressive with the girls in the restaurant and like to talk smack about the customers in Spanish which makes folks feel uncomfortable but the owners would have to get that under control. Other then that the girls were very sweet and helpful which made the visit more pleasant.

The location was dirty, though it had several restaurants to choose from; however, the restrooms…read moredid not have paper towels. The restaurants did not have ice. All the floors were dirty and sticky. While trying to locate the restrooms, I walked past the shower area, which was worse than the bathrooms. If I hadn't needed the restroom so badly, I would've turned around and left. I definitely did not purchase any food to eat. Though I can say staff does ID at the travel center and was refusing to break the law to serve a customer who was becoming very upset because the customer failed to bring their ID, and store personnel would not allow another customer to purchase the items for the original customer.
