Pilot Travel Center - Gas Stations Near Me - Bath, New York

I'm actually in a pretty good mood this morning, not grumpy as usual considering my work day is almost over.... I stopped into this pilot station as I'm getting a little drowsy and I still have about 80 mi left to drive... I'm thinking a cup of caffeine and I'm out of here. The regular coffee is empty. 11:30 in the morning and plenty of employees wandering around, and so rather than wait around for another pot I pulled a lever on the medium roast and I am now sipping on a couple of lukewarm coffee in my car. Basically I think they made coffee fresh this morning which would have been about six or seven hours ago and haven't checked back to the coffee area since then. So now that my grumbling is over, the rest of the store was pretty clean, including the restrooms. The coffee area itself was also clean considering typically a lot of convenience stores by 11:00 a.m. the coffee area is trashed so someone was over there at least a few times to wipe up what random customers spill. I only knocked off one star from this review because the coffee was non-existent and then lukewarm, the other star I'm knocking off because the French vanilla creamer dispenser was also empty. Basically when I'm tired and grumpy, don't mess with my coffee . I was however pleasantly surprised to see that they have a cinnabon location inside of this store, so I was able to grab a couple of those. Basically the place look pretty good except for the coffee. I'm not sure how many people consistently read my reviews however if you are one of them you know me by now, if you have a convenience store, and you want five stars out of me, you need to have hot coffee and the windshield washer fluid out by the gas pumps. I didn't get gas this time so I didn't check, but we're going to go on the assumption that they do. read more

Pilot Travel Centers have been the hallmark of relief on a long road trip for most of my travels. From Tumwater, WA to... well.. to this place. Everywhere I go if I see a Pilot I have to stop, they always have the greatest selection of hot-box items, there's almost always a restaurant inside, and their prices aren't insane. Since they pander to Truckers, you better believe that their bathrooms are kept in immaculate shape. Truck drivers inevitably talk, and if a place gets a reputation for disgusting bathrooms and otherwise not being clean and safe, they aren't going to stop there. (Ok, sometimes there's a charm to places like that, but they're the exception). This Pilot was no exception to the above. Great food, friendly staff, and clean premises. Glad we stopped in at the old reliable, it never disappoints. read more

This Pilot is the dirtiest I have ever visited. Garbage everywhere..from fuel islands, to entrance, to all over the floor in Women's rest room. I really wanted lunch, bit if this is any indication of how they clean...nope...I will keep rolling. read more

There's nothing better than to stop by a nice clean truck stop after a long drive. This Pilot is definitely one of them. I stopped in to get some food and some ice for my water and I was pleased with both the cleanliness of the place and the staff's friendliness. Got myself some subway and the ladies helping me was both super sweet and friendly. I then made my way to the gas station/shop part of the place to make myself some coffee. The area was clean which was definitely a plus. Once I got to the cashier, je was also sweet and friendly. If you've been driving and need a nice bathroom/food/gas break, this is the place for you. I have been to damn near every pilot stop from here to the west coast since traveling is what I do for work and let me tell you this is by far the WORST pilot I have ever seen. Bathrooms were disgusting I literally had to walk out and go to another gas station. The food was not available and when asked when it will be both ladies didn't wAnt to ask. Average truck stop. Stopped here because this was rated as a top 10 truck stop in America. There was nothing special at all about this location that I can even begin to understand why it would have been rated one of the top 10 stops in the US. Has fuel lanes, restrooms, showers, overnight parking but nothing over the top to even remember once you leave. read more

Today around noon my husband and I had the pleasure of having lunch here after spending a lovely 3 days at Serenity on the Bluff on Keuka Lake. I talked it all up having had the life experience of visiting only Pilot Travel Centers where available while driving the four times on purpose across the great and free United States. Upon shopping and checking out with the cashier Joanne I became faint. I told I'm husband I thought I may pass out and put my head low as I could. He finished the transaction and I got worse. I knew it wasn't to be long before that cement floor could be my landing. I saw the DEF display and sat on it. This in and out of consciousness continued. At every lucid moment I would reiterate my desire to not call an ambulance. My husband never left my side. At some point a blonde cashier came to assist my husband and me. She brought me orange juice which I drank. She asked me some questions first. I'm so sorry I did not ever see her or get her name. Joanne came over to assist as well. Joanne gave me step by step instructions as to what she would like me to do. She helped me because though I could hear her I could neither at times respond to or help her. I gave her a nod and yes to please do what she needed to do. This looking back amazes me. After assisting me with my husband to the car she gave my husband directions to the closest hospital. I all through this time requested not to have 911 called. Well~ "all's well that ends well" and that it did. Thank you Joanne and thank you to your co-worker. Also Pilot as a company needs to be commended. The care and comfort that the Pilot stores provide to over the road drivers is indescribable. Every store all the time across the country, state after state. My husband Rick Nasci told me later he was approached by several "truckers" asking what they could do to help him and me. Service here was excellent! We arrived with at least 80 people on a bus trip. Subway moved smoothly....hot food side moved even quicker. Had a couple minutes wait which was excellent for the number of people being served. Bathrooms were spotless and smelled of cinnamon if I could give more stars I would. read more

close this horrible place down. i stopped to use bathroom-filthy. got half tank of gas and was charged $151.00 for about 9 gallons. i called up and they said its not their charge its the gas pump charge. they own the gas but nkit the pump?? how crazy am i?? how absurd. in 63 years i have never ever seen this occur what a rip off avoid at all cost. read more

I have been stopping at this Pilot for the past five years. At first it was great then over the years it has gotten worse. The gas pumps need to be replaced. For the past couple of years out of the last five there has been one pump with a note saying the credit card doesn't work pay inside. Then just recently there was one that had the credit card slot pushed in. Returned the next week to see they tried to fix it but lacked the talent to, it was barley hanging in there. Then tonight my son stop to get gas. There was a lady who said she tried the pump he was at and said the key pad didn't work. He said he'll give it try and it didn't work for him either. He tried to cancel it thought it did. Moved to a different pump and pumped $30.00 in gas, Then check his bank account to find out it charged him $75.00 instead of the $30.00 he pumped. This place needs to do some serious upgrade on there gas pumps. read more
