Gasoline in DuPage County is always 30 cents a gallon cheaper than in Cook County. So I stopped here to gas up on a Sunday afternoon while visiting friends in Carol Stream. I went inside the store to pay cash for the purchase. The place was well lit and well stocked with a variety of snacks and drinks. Why opened a pilot gas station if you guys will not have showers and only 15 parking spots available. So stupid!

My car battery went out as I was driving home last Monday evening around 8:45pm when the temps were below zero! I was able to get it to the Pilot and ordered a tow but they were 2 hours out due to the weather so they told me to cancel. Chris the manager went above and beyond to help me. He gave me a jump and even brought my friend and I some coffee as we sat in car charging the battery . I was finally able to make it home safely by 11pm. Thank you , Chris!!! LIFESAVER. read more

No showers. Takes to drive there, get lucky enough to find a parking spot (only 20 available), get your things together, walk in, only to be told they don't have showers. While they say it is the city that will not allow them to have showers, I believe Pilot to be wealthy & powerful enough to successfully challenge this if they truly wanted to do so. Seems more like a "Pilot" test store for how profitable can they be without providing showers to drivers. Some bean counter is undoubtedly behind this & has been authorized to test his/her no shower program at this location. They need to prominently display the fact that they do not have showers at every opportunity. Drivers have Zero time to waste. read more

There are always issues with pilot and flying j truck stops. It's bad enough that your prices on EVERYTHING are stupid but now practically every parking spot is prime. Pumps don't work. DEF doesn't work. Showers are out of order and the food choices suck. Let's not mention the fact that your travel centers are few and far between. I can pass 10 loves truck stops before I can find one pilot. Time to start using loves and TA. read more

If you want to be at a Covid super spreader event just go to this location. Walked in and 5 customers walking around without masks and no social distancing by them or employees. One included a FedEx driver which has been reported to his employer. Big signs posted on the entrance but people are stupid and ignorant. I recommend going to the thorntons about 5 miles east where they stop people at the door without masks. read more

I worked as a Female fuel Hauler in Illinois. You can say the good ole boys was not use to having a woman put them to shame. The lead driver was a joke and and messy along with the Regional manager. They say ish starts at the top and it certainly did. I wrote to HR about some issues I was having with the night dispatch who just graduated logistic school and had no clue how to dispatch a Chicago region vs the small town back roads of Tennessee. Anyway, I thought this was a cool place to work for. I learned that are CUT THROATS. When I tried to be professional and provide a1 week notice, I was removed from the schedule thus ending my employment before my time was up. Guess they were bitter no one wanted to keep working a toxic environment. They post the actual names of drivers who had a fuel error work no discretion. When my new employer called to verify my employment with them, they refused to respond to the inquiry. Pilot Travel Centers has a VERY HIGH TURNOVER RATE. Disgusting conditions in the bathrooms in the 6 times ive been here. Makes me not want to even get my coffee from here. If they cant keep a bathroom clean, do they even clean to food and drink fixtures? Girls seem nice there . I was looking for something too eat there is no restaurant inside & they had NO showers what kind of truck stop out there that doesn't even offer showers . After a short conversation they told me the city wouldn't sell them water permits for showers If this is the case the people who work on the city board should be totally ashamed of themselves depriving the hard working men the basic rights of a shower after delivering & picking up there goods . A nice place to stop for snacks and fuel, that is marred by impolite staff. Was feeling a bit hungry and stopped for snacks. Slim Jim and a candy bar. Cashier helpfully said it was Buy one get one on the candy, to which I replied "no. I only want one". Now most cashiers are bright enough and polite enough to know not to argue with customers. This one not so much. Kept asking If I was sure. So I told her I no longer wanted any candy. She actually could not stop tAlking. Muttering under her breath, she just had to share her resentment that I had rejected her logic, her help, and her judgement. I will not tolerate disrespect from a clerk. Told her her smart mouth had cost pilot the sale, and the she needed to learn how to be polite, then walked out feeling grumpy and hungry. read more

This is by far the cheapest place to gas up for a residential customer. But don't like the employees bad attitude towards the customers.Feel like the owners of this establishment should send a few decoys into the place to have interactions with all the employees standing around there and they will see the pattern of being treated poorly. Knowing that a gas station makes most of it's profits from the sales of there food and beverages you would think they would hire a more friendlier staff. My only reason for filling up here is for the gasoline only.I always pay with my credit card so I can avoid any interactions with there unfriendly staff. read more

No. Just no. Not a truck stop. Not much of anything. No parking. No showers. No laundry. No nothing. My first and last time here.

From a truckers standpoint this is not a truck stop. There's maybe 15 parking spots, no showers, the bathroom was not very clean. The facility it's self was nice. Obviously new but very small. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. There is a sing in the truck parking area that says two hours max but had to take my ten. I love pilot and this one was very nice for a gas station not convenient for truckers read more

They will tow your truck immediately regardless on if you buy fuel or not. Very small signs at the entrance that say 2 hr parking. Be careful this is place is a racket. I believe the employees get kickbacks from calling the tow company. We are looking into it. We had verbal authorization from the manager for our small non for profit truck. Got there the next morning and the truck was gone. $540.00 that our small non for profit organization had to struggle to pay. These days you would think management would be more caring. read more

This was the cheapest gas in the area (8 cents cheaper!) so I went to fill up. I went in to pay cash and it was like walking into a resort! The place was spotless and the staff was very friendly. Not for gas Motorhomes. I have a 38' gas Motorhome and tow a car. Could not gas up, there was no gas pump that could accommodate my vehicle. If Pilot wants to cater to the RV people they might want to talk to the people who design these stations and keep RV's in mind when they build them. read more

This pilot is my home I love it. I know everyone in there. Yes road family it's unfortunate they have no showers no laundry and no scales. But it's not pilots fault so please don't get mad at the staff or pilot. The truck stop was originally designed for 75 parking spots 7 islands a scale six showers. It's the village that down graded it. They didn't want us there just local drivers. Yet you hear them all the time in the stores around here complaining how they're always out of stock for some thing they needed. They forget it's us road drivers that bring the good stuff. The Local guys help once in a while to finish the journey but its us road drivers who started it. Lack of respect can sometimes bring lack of goods it's just the name of the game. On a other note.. speaking of respect. I'm in there ALOT.
