The bathrooms were clean and the gas was reasonably priced. It was right off the main road which makes it a good stop when on a road trip.

Pretty good food and service there are showers and there are restaurants at this place it is a good place for a truck and car stop

This travel center was amazingly clean and the staff was very helpful. The bathrooms were spotless and the sales floor was too. No less than three times during my brief stay did someone on the sales floor asked if I needed help. Check out was a breeze. read more

Lost 1 star for the entry being very difficult for this tired trucker to find but perhaps that's the only way they could fit it in this bustling shopping area. Theres a Dollar Tree and a hotel crammed in this same block. A Walmart next door with truck parking laid out in front and a Tractor Supply on the other side makes this pretty much a one stop supply place. A "real" grocery store on the other side of the Tractor Supply is nice to find too. This place is really clean and the people are nice. I'm glad I found it. read more

Two really the showers are non adjustable and bounce between burning and freezing. The arbys is good but I can't believe I paid $17.00 for that shower. read more

I know how important reviews are. But this should be a one star. The female restrooms at 1106pm Feb 2021, were horrible. I hate loose toilet seats. Don't you? Shift change may have been happening. There was also like four or five employees at the register. Bathrooms 1 star. Gas. Easy abs fast to pump. Check out easy. Fast. Cinnabons everywhere. Yummy. Didn't get any. I stopped here on my ride from Colorado. It was definitely a good choice to come here. The restrooms are extremely clean and the actual store is too. They have just about anything you might need here too. I got a side salad and it's for sure a good choice for my lunch. If I'm traveling this direction again this will be my bathroom/lunch break for sure!!! read more

Great place to stop! One of the nicer Pilot gas stations we've stopped in (almost didn't stop since most are a little dirty and older). Store looks newer, big inside, well lit and organized. Ladies, the bathrooms are nice and clean! And the Cinnabon smell as you walk in is a nice bonus read more

Since the day this opened a few years ago, we've stopped here every time we drive thru Childress. It's always spotless. We even list it on our master list of cleanest bathrooms on the way( for our guests driving to visit us). 5:30am today. Somethings changed. Bathroom okay. Definitely not spotless.( wife said every stall floor dirty) Store okay. Not as neat and clean as usual. Sidewalk filthy( full of bits of trash, bugs, old cigarettes sitting on sidewalk and in cracks) and dirty overall. It sounds picky, but the bar of excellence in cleanliness was set high and we counted on it to continue. read more

Brand new store has a Arby's, Cinnabon, and PJ fresh. The Arby's is standard fast food good if you are in the mood for it. I had the Philly cheesesteak with curly fries. The sandwich was good but not outstanding,but I did really like the curly fries. Cinnabon was good but a little under done. Kinda doughy in the middle. The PJ Fresh looks to have the standard fare for a convenience store. Hot dogs, corn dogs, and the like. This is a new store so right now it is very clean. This is the only convenience store that I have seen with self checkouts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. read more

So I'm on my way to move back to the bay area California and I stopped in Childress to rest. I was craving some kraft easy Mac and called Pilot and was delighted to hear that they are open 24 hrs. I came to Pilot for my easy mac just for the young man to suggest that I get it cheaper at Walmart next door. I love anyone who tries to save me some money! I also purchased a salad but they were out of ranch but the same young man went in the back to search for some ranch packets for me. Can we say GODSEND! my boyfriend was also hungry and so he mentioned all the hot and ready to go breakfast meals! GREAT customer service, clean and organized store, would definitely be a regular customer if I lived near by. Oh...did I mention they have Cinnabon cinnamon buns!!! So clean!!! And everyone working there was so nice!! Huge selection of fresh food, drinks, snacks, electronics, clothes, movies, everything you could want in a gas station!!! They also have self pay scanners, which I've never seen at a gas station before, and it's the most amazing, efficient thing ever. Props to this Pilot Travel Center!! Keep killin it :) read more

Traveling through from the panhandle to Dallas and goal is, is to stop at every pilot and purchase a souvenir, pilot is my favorite gas station as it usually always has the best knickknacks. Childress being the first I was super excited to finally get to use the bathroom and baby needed to be changed being 7 months along and him 17 months, just as we were fixing to enter the bathroom we were locked out and Rudely told he needed to clean the bathroom, so I asked if there was a family bathroom, or anywhere in general I could at least change the baby, and he shut that down quickly with a rude No and shake of the head, so I asked if I could use it really fast since he was having to wait for other customers, and again a shallow quick no, and argument over why we couldn't use it in the time he was having to wait, I requested his name for a complaint, he shook his head and refused, so I went to speak to the manager and of course here he comes to argue about whatever he wanted while saying he wasn't rude, (that seems like a good definition of rude) the manager said that we could've used the shower room, so why didn't Mr. Roy let me know this when I asked before anything needed to escalate? Manager told me he would take care of it, appreciate it, until the entire time we were in the store you could hear him making very loud complaints about me just needing to use a bathroom. So use it as you will. Just don't expect to use the bathroom when Roy needs to fake clean it just to be mean, because they sure weren't clean for making us wait. read more

Ginormous gas station! They have self checkout and an Arby's too. The bathrooms are designed efficiently and they have classic rock anthems playing in the building. Its pretty sweet doing your business to rock anthems. read more

By far the cleanest stations I've been in while on road trips. This one in particular, wow restrooms spotless, friendly staff, great food, I could keep going, they have everything you need in one stop.
