This Pilot seems like it's always busy when I come to fuel here and the drivers are always taking their breaks at the pumps. It has plenty of parking and the associates inside are friendly. I was able to get a shower pretty quickly but it could've just been timing. There is a McDonald's located inside if you get hungry and they do have laundry if you need to wash your clothes. This Pilot Travel Center in Dalton, just off I-75, is a solid stop for road trippers and truckers alike. Outfitted with a regular fuel station, a truck fuel center, showers, restrooms, and both a Subway and McDonald's. Only thing missing, for me at least, is a designated pet area outside. The store itself is in decent condition and clean for a travel center. It has all the standard snacks, drinks, and road trip essentials for that trip up and down 75. Service was okay. Not particularly friendly but not unpleasant either. Overall, convenient and reliable stop with good amenities and options. Would have no issues swinging through on a future trip. read more

This is for my fellow truckers. I don't recommend McDonald's or Subway for obvious reasons. If you don't understand throw a comment my way lol. The store is cool. They have their quick grab food items in the hotbox. I'm not here for food. I'm here for parking, showers, and laundry. I don't know how much extra this pilot is making from the gaming room, but they could take that out and put more washers and dryers. I am at least grateful that they offer an area for laundry. 2 washers, 6 dryers. I don't usually come too late, but it's a good place to find parking before entering the Atlanta area. I love the Mexican restaurant across the street. Its not too far of a walk and if you think it is, this is why I don't recommend McDonald's or Subway. BTW. If you go to the Sueño Mexican restaurant, I like the fajitas Texana. Hopefully you can eat shrimp. Yum. I don't fuel at Pilot, but I will say that the Shower was well worth the $17.00 Amazing water pressure and if you think it won't get hot enough because you turned the knob all the way. Turn it one time back around. It'll get there. You're welcome! Oh! Showers... you will flood the floor, so don't lay any clothes or towels on the floor before you get out. I was standing at the register to make a purchase and she was wiping down the coffee station, she saw me standing there and asked if I could come back being that she was in the middle of something. Store is clean. The showers are small but very clean also. The water gets super hot and the water pressure is everything!! Very good truck stop. There is Subway and McDonald's inside. The only problem is there is poor signal in the area. Data won't load up very good, if any at all. Other than that, it's a great place to crash for the night! read more

Whenever I travel, I look for Pilot Travel Centers. The gas is cheap, easy access to get in and out of, bathrooms are decent, convenient store has all the stuff you need, and most have restaurants connected next to the convenient store. This location is off I-75, I believe 20 miles away from the city of Chattanooga, TN. It is right off the exit. There is a Mcdonalds and Subway connected next to the store. Plenty of parking lots if you would like to go inside before/after you gas. It is super crowded, there maybe a wait, but the gas lines go pretty quick. I would recommend this Pilot center. Lots of parking. We went to the Subway, which, like the rest of the store, was swarming with flies. We were trying to brush them away from our sandwiches as they were being made. Ugh. The bathroom was smaller but adequate. The "backroom" area where the showers and laundry facilities are is messy and run down. All in all, comparatively this is just an "ok" location. read more

Terrible. It's bad enough with the corona virus going around that I still need to work in order to feed my family but when I have to stop for gas that is all I want to do. Meaning getting out of my truck , paying at the pump, pumping my gas then leaving. That is it. But when I am forced into the store in order to have to retrieve a receipt you are putting me at risk of contamination. Fix your crap where I can get a receipt at the pump. Pilot you should respect your customers more by simply fixing your crap and making our stop a little more convenient. And as for the girl at the register. A place for a truck driver to relax and take a shower. With their new philmor coffee cup club you get coffee for a reasonable cost. It is fairly clean however, a little more attention could be paid to the restrooms. In a world where cigarette prices keep increasing the pilot here has good reasonable rates. Disgusting place. Arby's is absolutely swarming with flies. Stand in line for a minute and count how many land on you. There's no way this food is sanitary. The owner and managers obviously lack the 80 IQ required to purchase a $40 bug zapper. Avoid at all costs if possible. read more
