You know, it feels a little weird to write a review about a gas station. Yet, I feel compelled to…read morewrite about this one place. I don't live in Asheville, in fact I live very far away. I drive to Asheville a few times a year (anything to avoid flying with those stupid airlines), and since it's fairly close to where I stay, I will go there to gas up. Often when I've gone there, the attendant was outside cleaning the pumps or chatting up people. I don't know, it's just that there were some general good vibes. Is that weird? To me, it is a little bit weird in that almost all gas stations are places that skeeve me out. People watching is often entertaining and horrifying at the same time. Most attendants at these places obviously don't want to be there, and most of the time everything is dirty, even in the new places. So, yeah, it's a bit weird that I'm writing this. But, I wouldn't be writing it if it didn't affect me in someway shape or form. It has. It's not an earth shattering experience for most people, but it something I always notice when I'm there.

I have to imagine it's owned by an actual mom and pop who have been in the convenience store game forever. The gas pumps are straight 80's style. Rotating numbers, no digital displays, and if you want to pay with a card you have to head inside. You get your choice of gas though, unleaded, unleaded, or unleaded. I like this spot. It's a great place to run to if I run out of half and half, or beef jerky, or pringles. The staff is always ultra pleasant and sweet. The funny thing is, I only head here while the sun is up. For some reason I find myself heading to other convenience stores. I feel like they close earlier than your standard gas station. The sodas on ice at the front by the check out counter are a serious nice touch.

There wasn't even much room to walk around. One of the men working came out and took photos, then had me return inside to file a report. He had to search and all he had was a pencil for me to use. He said I'd get a call that day or the next morning. It's been 2 days and no word from them. I tried snapping in the panel, but the damage was too great and it wouldn't stay. I couldn't even get far without it falling off, so I had to find a store and get tape just to make it back home! Very upset and do not recommend! They do not care about your car or your business.

I love when car washes have 'stations' set up for you to continue to wash the interior of your vehicle once you go through the primary wash. This place has it. Complete with rags, vacuums, interior spray, hoses for mat cleaning, and even high powered air compressor hoses. The wash itself has three different tiers of washes that you can do, and it is on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for, and what's great is if you feel the first one was insufficient, they'll let you go through again at no extra charge.
