Caught manager on my step deck looking inside of my truck, I've never in my life seen anything like that. First he lied and said someone call and reported I was parked illegally so I kindly moved so I wouldn't cause a stir, I parked closer to the exited minded you I'm letting my dog use the bathroom before getting on the road and when I come back into my truck from the passenger side the manager was in my window and he knew he was wrong when we made eye contact because he immediately jumped down. I recommend the TA down the road less trouble over there read more

OK spot here! Food/Drink: Plenty of snacks, chips, jerky, sweets, taquitos, and fountain drinks. Dinning Area: None. Prices: Relatively inexpensive, minus the big ticket items. Parking: Plenty of space, side and back private lots. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Stock: Plenty of items, all stocked well. Clearly priced, and placed in correct areas. Atmosphere: Very lively, truck stop mostly, but lots of travelers. Staff/Attendants: Guy was not talkative, and not very happy. I like enthusiasm and conversation, he was neither. The BEST gas station I've ever been to. Gas prices were descent, and a perfect place by route 80. The bathrooms are clean, and there are a lot of amenities. There's a game room, a subway, a coffee machine, and even a Cinnabon! The variety of items was insane! You could use this place as a grocery store if you wanted to. Other than that, this place is great and a good stop by route 80. read more

Was driving through to get gas. It was a really big facility. They had so many options of snacks, foods and drinks. They also had different trinkets and things. Clothes for construction workers for sale. Decent prices. It was attached to a subway and they also sold Cinnabon there as well. It is right off the main interstate there and lots of people come with their semis and such. read more

Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? No, but because this place is perpetually busy all of the outside garbage bins were overfilled. I had to get gas on the way home. Gas pump did not work so had to go in. The clerk was not covering his nose, the stocker had his mask down, several customers were unmasked, and there was no signage about masks. There was an attempt, if you know that phrase. A mask over the mouth is better than just the nose at least. There are some nice things about this place, but I work in science, and there is no reason for this behavior by the employees except adamant, ignorant anger. which is odd, because there is another reviewer where they refused service at the subway, perhaps different managers. my checkout guy would not have refused service to such a rude person acting outside of reasonable guidelines to end the pandemic. So, perhaps some of those folks at Subway care about others. (if you are anti-mask, "adamant" means strongly resolved). Masks do work, unless you know more than I know and more than all the doctors (MD, PhD, MD/PHD) that I know, and the government experts we pay to advise us and who treat you and your children..... Pretty soon, if we wear masks, they will be asking us to wear shirts, trousers, and shoes! There are a lot of options at that exit, and I'll try another one next time. Being vaccinated I'm probably safe, but now I'm adamantly pro-mask because I'm tired of this pandemic going on, and I'm tired of paying for folks who get into the hospital who could have stayed out. read more

All the service stations at Exit 173 on I-80 have similar and competitive prices. But if I had to choose - and I did - I pick(ed) Pilot simply because it was a more familiar name, and I knew the travel center would be good, as well as have large, clean rest rooms. This Pilot also has a Subway connected to it, which is good if you want a fresh meal. However, from prior experience I've had at Subways in other Pilot Centers, these Subways normally do not participate in their own rewards program. They are usually required to defer to the Pilot rewards program. read more

Just another service station. Had to give it a shout out since it saved us from an almost empty tank trucking through this random snow storm in the middle of February! It has a Subway attached which was nice. Love seeing Pilots on the road. A secondary trustworthy pitstop after T/A. read more

The bathrooms are clean and so is the store. The staff is friendly and really the only negative is there tends to be problems with the soda flavoring system (i.e. adding cherry or vanilla to your soda) in that it sometimes doesn't work correctly. read more

Crowded, narrow aisles throughout the store and not enough cashiers. It wasn't very busy, but still a long wait to checkout. The trash can in the bathroom was packed full and reeked. They have one outdoor table with a canopy but the ground is covered in cigarette butts. We specifically wanted Cinnabon which has a counter jammed packed in the middle of the store. They would only sell us prepackaged, cold rolls. They had warm ones, but will only sell those individually at almost $4 each. We bought a cold 6 pack and were disappointed to find that once cold they taste (and maybe are) days old - firm, chewy, dry... really disappointing and a complete rip off at almost $15. read more

This place is very spacious with many different food outlets that are satisfying to the sight. Definitely a great place to stop by on a long drive, especially with a large group like the one I am in. The people here are very friendly and patient with us as we ordered food or bought merchandise. There are also outlets at every table for you to be able to charge any electronic device as well. read more

Travel back to IN, stopped to get gas and some water. Gas prices were good for the area, and pump worked well. Inside cashier was a little slow as I waited 5 minutes literally with only 1 person in front of me. Outside was a little cluttered with trash can overflowing. Amazing people that work at this pilot ! Seriously couldn't ask for better my husband had a medical emergency at the pilot . They called ambulance and made sure all of our stuff was secured . Being 750 miles from home knowing such wonderful people helped my husband . Restored my faith in humanity ! Nice store everything you need and pilot gas ! Easy in and out ,clean restrooms and good selection of snack foods . Subway too awesome . So fill up your tank have lunch and a tinkle and your ready to go . And great friendly staff ! read more

When my dad--84, driving alone--was driving across Pennsylvania, he ran out of gas, even though he swears he filled it up at this Pilot station. He called and got Mark, who not only drove out to him with gas, AND gave him a jump since he'd run his battery down, BUT ALSO followed him a ways down I-80 in order to make sure he was doing OK. Then he tried to refuse a tip (but my dad wouldn't take no for an answer.) I'm going to call on Monday and make sure management knows how far above and beyond Mark went!
