It wasn't horrible, but I think wouldnt recommend it to anyone else because the customer service was terrible and the cashier used my points when I told her that I didn't want to use them because I was trying to save my points to let them build them back up. She never offered any apology for her mistake and she never showed any remorse for her mistake. I do understand that mistakes do happen but she was very nonchalant about it. A really pleasant truck stop in the Charleston area, right off the interstate 526 and not too far off interstate 26, this Pilot has a Arby's and PJ fresh Marketplace the showers are clean, employees are very nice, the truck parking is very limited and don't even think your going to find a parking spot after 3pm lol. read more

Pilot Travel Center on North Rhett Avenue in North Charleston is a good place to stop for gas, something to eat, and everything that you need in a convenience store. While this Pilot Travel Center has a lot of potential with other little stores within the store (ex. Arby's, Cinnabon, etc) it falls very short of it's potential. They do have better prices on gas than other stations in the area, but if you do get gas you'll have to go inside for a receipt since the pumps are usually out of paper. And once inside you'll wait forever to get up to the register because either their equipment is outdated or the attendant just isn't in a hurry. read more

As a professional driver I carry myself with respect and I treat others the same but on multiple occasions I've received terrible service at this location with little no regard and it's just so frustrating. I was given two free drinks through the app,I went to redeem them and the manager is telling me I can't use it twice. I ensured her this was my first time using the reward,she basically called me a liar and rejected me rudely. Clearly I don't need to steal a damn thing I can purchase my stuff but it's the principle of being treated like a damn criminal and not given the benefit of saying maybe something is wrong with the app. I always buy my stuff but every now and again y'all give us the free drinks. You guys are typically understaffed and spread thin resulting in bad service. I expect this from the regular employees not the manager. read more

Several different pizza slices available, meatloaf is AWESOME, chicken fingers, hot wings, potatoes wedges, mashed potatoes with gravy, and couple different vegetables. The Pilot travel center is one of the Newer gas stations within the North Charleston area. This center is within close proximity to Park Circle, and many businesses such as SPAWAR and SRC. One of the nice things about this Travel Center is the fact that it not only sells gas but inside there is also an Arby's, Auntie Anne's Pretzel and Cinnabon just in case you need to grab something to eat while stopping to get gas, which I find very convenient. I've found that their restrooms are also well kept which is always a good thing. Are you a trucker? If so, this location offers shower facilities as well. This little travel center can be very convenient if you are pressed for time however it's located near a very busy intersection and is often filled with semi trucks which can sometimes cause congestion when maneuvering in or out of the center. read more

I have been here a few times and they have been really busy. The car parking lot is huge and there aren't too many parking spots close to the building. Luckily I found an open one in front and didn't have to park next to the road. Today I was on the hunt for a coke icee. Not knowing if they had a machine I went to the kangaroo first. Not working. So here I am at a pilot center. They surprisingly had an actual icee machine with coke but that was the one not working! So sad. I ended up leaving empty handed but it looked busy inside especially for the amount of cars outside. It is a nice place, pretty decent size for the gas station part. Seemed like the Arby's side could be a little bigger for how packed it seemed in there. I am happy to know that they carry icee's here! read more

I frequent this Pilot TC based on its proximity to my work. It is definitely kinda cool to have one of these on the way to work as in addition to very good gas prices they have good deals on drinks and snacks daily. There is also an Arby's, Cinnabon and Auntie Anne's inside for your on the go breakfast, lunch and dinner needs. Their gas prices are approximately 15 cents cheaper than Mount Pleasant which is why I stop here so often. They have plenty of gas pumps so I have never had to wait for a pump. The staff are energetic, they really seem to care, and no matter what time it is you can fuel up the truck, put a decent meal together and use a clean, well appointed bathroom. Traffic can be tricky, so maneuvering safely takes attention. On the food side, there are fresh salads and sandwiches, pizza, and diner style food like meatloaf and mashed potatoes that are filling and surprisingly tasty. The only problem I have with the Pilot is the cars who speed in excess of 45mph while trespassing through the truck parking area to avoid the traffic light on the corner. There have been several near miss accidents with both trucks and pedestrians because of this. So be careful not to get run over fir they speed through the car parking area as well.
