Every year the Bluegrass rally gets smaller and smaller. Started as a three day event, then a two day and now a one day event. Everyone is blaming everyone else for the decreases. We are a group of over 15 RVs and a total of over 30 people. This equates to over a few thousand dollars in lost fees and revenue if we do not return. I really love this venue. So far this year I got to attend the Bluegrass Festival, the Gourd Festival, and the Pinal County Fair. The bluegrass festival also included the car show, motorcycle show, and a ton of music groups. It was so much fun to dance. The gourd festival was full of demonstrations, and artists to talk to all day long. The Pinal County Fair had Godfrey the Magician, the balloon man, monkeys, feeding Lorikeets, and a high dive. To come to this fairgrounds means you get to see a little of everything!!! read more

Big fan of this fairgrounds in Casa Grande, AZ. Have been coming to fairs and festivals for many years. I love the many improvements they have done in that time. The people in charge have really invested back into the buildings and the grounds - and it shows. Each year we come to all 5 days of the Pinal County Fair, the Agri-Country Bluegrass Festival, and the Running of the Gourds Festival. Excellent entertainers, rides, music, food, and good people at the various events keep us coming back for more. read more

This RV parking area is off the beat & path- some 6 miles East of I-10, North East of Casa Grande. No services are within 5 miles. We understood we would have 50 Amp & Water & I could pick my spot. I drove to the center of the parking area (--about 50 acres), leveled, put the slides out and went outside to plug in & connect water. Finally, I figured out the electric was not on. Went to the source - all of my side was good. Called the office and an employee was sent out. He was matter of fact- "you have to move". I asked for a supervisor & he drove off. I realized at that point I was on my own - or as Clark Howard would say - "customer no service". The fee was $20.00, reasonable, however under the circumstances, I wasn't happy. read more

If it was possible to give negative stars this place would have earned them. A good friend of mine had his wedding here and it was nothing but issues from the start. First and foremost he was promised air conditioning in the building and was told upon arrival that none of the air conditioning worked. He was told that he would have available to him X (I am not sure of the number) number of tables. He had also specifically asked for some long banquet style tables. He did get a few but not what was needed. When I asked if we could get a few more the help acted as if I was asking for a kidney. When he booked the hall he also informed them that the people catering the food would need to be able to bring their vehicles into the fairgrounds because it was a barbeque and they had a pull-behind grill along with all the side dishes. He was told that that would be no problem. When the caterers arrived they were immediately told by the RUDE "security" people ( I will get to them later) that they could not have their vehicles in the fairgrounds. They were told to immediately unload, unhook the grill and get the vehicles out. The guy catering told them that his equipment, food and supplies were in the vehicles. That did not matter and they told him to move the vehicles because people had coolers in their cars with alcohol. At that he told the "security" people to search their vehicles, which they did not. The groom came out and told the lady that appeared to be in charge that he was told that the vehicles would be allowed inside. One of the helpers said, "I have worked here 4 years and I have never heard of that." Eventually he was allowed to keep the vehicle hooked up to the grill but the other had to get out. Finally, on the make-shift "security guards". This had to be the most intrusive, rude group of people I have ever dealt with. They posted up at the entrance of the hall we were in and just starred and at everybody as if we were all criminals. When dealing with the people in our party they were rude and very unaccommodating. The bride and groom and rented the hall until 10 p.m. At approximately 6:45 p.m. a few members of the wedding party wanted to go to the parking lot to drop off their wedding clothes and change. They were told that if they walked out that they would not be allowed back in. However, this rule ONLY applied to our party. Several people from another wedding that was going on were allowed to come and go as they pleased. One member of our party actually got stuck outside and he had to call the groom and tell him what was going on. It was only after a 20 minute heated debate with "security" and the lady in charge was he allowed back in. After the food was done and the caterers were taking a cooler out to their vehicle and one of the "security" people said, "Are you done now? You need to get that vehicle out." He told the women that he would let her know he was done. This particular "security" person was an older Mexican lady and she was RUDE as HELL. I would NEVER rent this place for anything. If you do just realize that you are in for nothing but issues. All they would say is that the person that took the reservation no longer worked there, but what should that matter? It wasn't like they were making stuff up. All they wanted was what they paid for and to have a good time. There were no apologizes, no partial refunds, nothing. There are plenty of other places to rent. read more
