I booked my daughter's baby shower here for 08/20/2016. We met with Russell, I think about 2 or 3…read moremonths in advance. He is exceptional to work with! Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and has a great sense of humor - thank goodness he has all of these for the 3 ring circus that rolled in the day of the shower! In our initial meeting he pulled info from us, that we hadn't even really thought about, and executed those ideas beautifully. I was so happy to see the baby blue and pastel yellow napkins and table runner (It's a boy!). It was cute and classy at the same time. Russell had decided to move us to another room within the facility, and we did not expect it and were speechless when we saw it. He told me we'd be more comfortable in the larger room (We'd had a bigger number than we'd originally thought.), and I thought that was just really nice of him to think of the customer that way. We chose a lunch buffet that was delicious and not so heavy. It's super hot here, and I don't think anyone wants to have a huge lunch. My mom & I had made all the desserts, but all of my serving pieces were in storage. Russell and crew took care of that! They made my desserts look so pretty I almost didn't believe that I had made them! I had also opted for the chocolate fountain because -pregnant lady! Speaking of the staff. My gosh, they were so nice!! So polite, but smiling and laughing with us. It just makes the event even better, more joyful somehow. I hope they had fun with us too and don't think we're nuts! The venue is GORGEOUS! It was a house that was converted into the event property, and it's really cool because there's homey touches here and there. I had my wedding reception here, and my daughter had her prom here. After our experience here, I will not go anywhere else for event planning. Their prices are competitive and fair, especially for what they offer you. You won't regret booking here!

Poorly managed. Poorly maintained. What a rip off for over $200 per night. I will not stay there…read moreagain- well worth the drive to Globe/Miami. The room key-cards rarely worked. The front desk clerk left at 5 pm, so we were quite concerned our key would not let us back in the hotel after dinner. Thank goodness it did, because the keys didn't work the next mornin, and I would have been locked outa my room. Our room was not cleaned. We only had one towel. Sheets were stained. No toiletries. Not even soap! When I asked Audrey for soap, shampoo and conditioner and towels, I just got one towel, and no just conditioner. Audrey said they had no conditioner, and had no "bar" soap, and then she handed me a partially-used, already opened travel-size liquid facial cleanser. There were two rat/mouse traps positioned under my bedside table. Not a great feeling. The shelf in the shower was broken off and missing. The TV and continental breakfast were a complete waste of time. The leather sofas in the lobby were cracked and worn, and looked like they had sat outside in the sun all summer. Too bad. They made an effort to refurbish the place, but didn't hire the right people to look after it. Sad story and a waste of my money. BUYER BEWARE!

I looked at the website, and reviews when making our decision to stay there for the prickly pear…read morefestival. I made sure to ask questions, so I knew there was no mini fridge or microwave in the room and brought my own cooler. They were great about supplying ice for it. HOWEVER, there was no tea room, bar (the signs on the door say "Tea room and Bar") or meal service other than a "continental" breakfast. It was 1 bagel, 1 muffin and 2 slices of bread in a baggie. There was coffee, OJ and cranberry juice, no fruit, no breakfast sandwiches, nothing of note for the hype. I've had better at cheaper places. On the website we say pictures of table settings, a professional kitchen and even pictures of the food. Then when I saw that I was disappointed that we were paying over 200$ a night and couldn't even get a working TV. The front door locks in the late afternoon so you're expected to enter and exit through the back door. That's $425 and a whole weekend I'll never get back. To top it off, it was our anniversary.
