Just think for a moment your favorite game that you once played in the 1980s and 1990s. Chances are Pinball PA has it; even more titles that you never heard of. This is great for all ages; even saw grandparents enjoying some pinball. The coolest thing is the price is reasonable. For $25/per person you can unlock nostalgia memory lane for 2 hours of unlimited retro vintage fun. No quarters nor tokens are required here. All the cabinets are on free play. The only problem is where do you start? PAC-MAN, Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., Dig Dug, or Pole Position? The possibilities are endless here. My personal favorites at this location were: VS. Super Mario Bros., Pole Position, Ms. PAC-MAN, Paperboy, Dig Dug, Frogger, Gauntlet, Ghost n' Goblins, Pirate Ship: Higemaru, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I even enjoyed the Star Trek: The Next Generation pinball. I didn't see Bionic Commando or Willow there though. In conclusion: From the 70s, 80s, and 90s vintage arcade and pinball cabinets. My family had a blast here! We came on Father's Day for about two hours. They closed at 6:00pm because it was a Sunday. I was not too sure what to expect, but there was an insane amount of pinball machines as well as other classic arcade games. My personal favorites are skee-ball, air hockey, and Hydro Thunder! The employee who greeted us at the front desk was super sweet and up-beat. We payed for our admission and he placed the wristbands on our wrists. He explained the rules in a very simple form and sent us on our way. He would also walk around just in case we needed any help with the games. I would say around two hours is the perfect amount of time to play any of the many games available. If it is busy, maybe a little longer! It's called "Pinball" PA for a good reason...there are hundreds of pinball machines in this place, and all are set on free play! Games from today, and, games from the past 6 decades can be found. But it's not just pinball, it's OG video games...hundreds of those too! Rigs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s (but especially the 80s) are in the house. Again, free play. But it's not just pinball and vids. Dozens of old skool electromechanical and hybrid arcade games from the 50s, 60s, and 70s are here. Yeah, free play. Free play? Well, they do charge a 30 buck cover, but then you play all day. 20 bucks for 2 hours. Family discounts and group discounts may apply, too. Thirty bucks may seem a bit steep, but when you consider that most new pinball machines cost a buck per play, you can EASILY get your money's worth. For as many games as there are in Pinball PA, the machines are in surprisingly good shape. The buttons, joysticks, flippers, and screens are, in general, in good working order...not perfect, but good/very good. Maybe 5 percent of the games are down for repair at any given time. As a bonus, there are a few display cases full of handheld and console games from the 70s and 80s. Nostalgia, baby. Also, check out the walls. This is a hidden gem for sure! My friend and I took a drive out here to see what all the five star reviews were about, and we found out super quickly. For twenty bucks each, we were able to play unlimited games for two hours! Two hours may not seem like a long amount of time, but it was more than enough. I felt like I was able to tap into my childhood but also childhoods before me. I didn't grow up in the 70s or 80s but there were lots of arcade games from those decades and even earlier! My treat of the night was being able to play the Hercules pinball game. I remember growing up seeing this monster of a machine but was never able to play it because it truly is a collector's piece. I highly recommend visiting PA Pinball. My family went on New Years Eve. This was my first visit while my wife and youngest have visited two other times. The New Years Eve was a great deal for a family. All you can play from 4-2am for 55.00 (up to family of four). This included two pieces of pizza, chips, and pop/water. There were additional add-one if you wanted to do a BYOB, or reserve a table. We spent almost four hours that night. The staff was extremely friendly. So many options. Tons of pinball machines throughout, covering many different eras, and subjects. Many different video games, air hockey, skeeball, and even a bubble/paddle hockey. It is very easy to spend 3+ hours here. Many options, friendly staff, and family friendly price points. I would definitely come back. read more

This place was so much fun! I took my boys, 9 and 13, here today and they had a blast. We got the all day family pass and spend almost 4.5 hours here and definitely got our money's worth. There is a two hour pass as well but it's a better value to do the all day pass because two hours is not enough time to experience this place! They loved all of the old games especially the shooting and racing games. I'm 46 years old so I loved all of the old early 80s games. We could have spend all day here. So much fun! read more

I've lived in Hopewell for years and finally decided to give this place a shot. It was a good time! A ton of video games and pinball machines. Even an air hockey table which is my personal favorite. I was a little surprised by the price. Almost $15 for an hour and $19.99 for two hours. I get it though. Overhead is high and I'm sure the popularity of pinball games isn't what it used to be. I wish this place all the luck! My only real complaint was the cost of BYOB. $15 for one person is a little steep. I would think charging so much would discourage people from hanging out longer and having beverages. We opted to only play for an hour and take the drinks back to the car. read more

From the get go the staff was great giving us an explanation of how the machines were all on free play and what kind of games they had. Sure enough they have some of the machines of my youth. The old electro-mechanical (non solid-state) ones. They had a huge wall FULL of those ancient beauties, all available to play. And play I did!! For $20 you get two full hours to satisfy that kid inside you and flip and twist and nudge till your hearts content! It was great. It's a little off the beaten path in an old strip mall shopping area, not in a warehouse type building like you might imagine. But it is filled with over 400 machines. If your taste runs to the newer glitzy pinball machines they have those. If you want to play target shooting or driving games they have those. If you're craving some vintage Pac Man or Sega or Atari classics? Yep, they're here. A museum and hall of fame indeed!!! No tokens, no hassle. Step right up and hit play and get your flipper fingers limbered up, you're in for the fastest 2 hours you've likely had in a long time. Or opt for the all day play ticket. Now THAT would be an indulgence. Not sure when you'd come up for air. They may not have everything you're looking for but its certain they have something from every era. Finally got to travel to the Pittsburgh area and made sure my friends and I stopped in. We do not regret it! The pinball and classic arcade variety was fantastic. We were all very impressed by the selection and it made our 2 hours fly by. It's a flat fee of $20 for 2 hours, the games are set to free play and it is worth it. By the end of our 2 hours I felt like a kid who wanted to cry because he had to leave Chuck E Cheese. The man running the door was very nice, laid back, and informative. They take care of their machines and keep them running as best as they can. Only a small number were out of order, but the machines we played all worked spectacularly. I was so happy to find this place and find pinball games I've played throughout my life in one spot. I wanted to drive back the next day and play more. My wife and I checked out the pinball museum in Vegas (unrelated to this place) and Pinball PA puts it to shame in machine selection and friendliness. I can't wait for my next trip to Pitt so I can go back. This place is a gem, I also heard they do pinball tournaments and global championships. This is an absolute must-visit if you like pinball or arcade machines. $20 per person will get you 2 hours of gaming, and $40 will get you an all day pass. There are over 400 machines (over half are pinball), all set to free play. With older machines, it's not unusual to see a fair number out of order, but this place keeps almost all of them in perfect working order. The selection of pinball games in particular is fantastic, ranging from the 1940s to today (I think the newest one was from the Transformers movie). They have just about any old arcade game you can think of, even some obscure ones like Journey (a terrible game about the band Journey). Clean restrooms are an extra plus, since they're located in something of a small strip mall. I was there on a Saturday evening, and it wasn't crowded at all. I'd really like to see this place make enough money to succeed, but at the same time, it's nice not to have to fight a crowd or wait in line for machines. If you're looking for a good way to kill an afternoon, this is the spot. read more

This place is like a time machine back to my childhood. Over 400 pinball machines and classic video games. Almost like a nostalgic sensory overload with all of the lights and sounds, but it's pretty amazing. You pay at the door (rates vary depending on the number of people and the length of your stay) and they give you a wristband that indicates your end time. Then it's off to the races. The machines are all set to free play mode so all you need to do is hit the "start" button and begin playing. There are so many games that it's hard to decide on where to start. And it's not just video games and pinball machines...they also have dome hockey, air hockey, skee ball, and old penny arcade machines. My friend and I used to play a game called Cyberball at Century III Mall back in the 80s, and we never imagined that we would still be playing in 2022. But we found it at Pinball PA and it's still fun destroying him in head to head matches (just like I did in 1988). We usually buy the 2-hour package, and the time passes really quickly. The interior is decorated to evoke the 1980s, with classic album covers (Duran Duran, Wham!, Cyndi Lauper, etc.) adorning the walls. It never gets overly crowded so you can usually jump right onto any machine and begin playing. This is a great place to waste a few hours on a weekend. Highly recommend. read more

That is absolutely not the case at the Pennsylvania Coin Operated Gaming Hall of Fame Museum. The entire point of this museum is to relive your youth and play to your heart's desire. Your inner 13-year-old will be doing backflips upon entering a domain that houses over 400 vintage pinball and arcade games. Photos do not do this place justice. I spent the first 15 minutes walking around and attempting to take it in before wading into a gaming frenzy. Your ears will be humming with the clicks and chimes of the classic electro-magnetic pinball units. Your eyes will pop taking in all the classic arcade units. Everything is set to free play. If you played it in your youth, odds are high that they have it here. Not only vintage units but new high-end pinball machines like Iron Man, AC/DC and The Avengers; not roped off to admire but right along side all the other machines, beckoning you to play. My friend and I made a 3 hour drive to visit this place and I will most certainly return. The Coin-Op HOF & Museum exceeded all of my expectations. They have multiple admission packages to cover a couple hours to an all-day gaming bonanza. One word of warning, bring ibuprofen. I happened upon the Museum one afternoon after lunch and was amazed by the collection. It was like stepping back in time, to the days gone past. To the days of scrounging for change so you could head to the local arcade with a pocket full of quarters to waste the day away playing your favorite games. It made me feel young again, which was priceless and a needed break from the day to day. Quickly I realized I had to bring my son, so he could finally experience the true arcade experience, not a gaming system at home. My wife came along and for two hours we all got to get lost in the shear fun of the place. Arcade machines and pinball machines from the 50's to today, all for one price. No reaching for more quarters or running out while playing. Pay the entry fee and free play until your done. We have already been back since, and will be stopping again many times.
