Very clean very good food and service! Wonderful paninis and soups. Homemade specials and homemade sweets.

PCB&D has been in business for several years serving breakfast and lunch. During my working years it was not unreasonable to see me there at least twice a week. SInce retirement I just havent been that much. No perticular reason just didnt fit my current schedule. While working one has a schedule of doing cetain things at certain times??? They have a pretty set menu for the different days of the week with something very good everyday. My favorites were always the poppyseed chicken, gumbo and crawfish chowder. Sandwiches (paninis), salad bar, and hamburgers were also very good. Also hom..emade desserts are great. With a new preacher coming to town I wanted to take him to good restaurant that he would be impressed by. What better place than PCB&D. First we were welcomed by Roslyn with a warm and friendly welcoming. Reviewing the many options for a new customer. New preacher settled in on the salad bar and a panini sandwich while I went with my fav of poppyseed chicken and salad bar. Both meals were outstanding as expected. Breakfast is delicious. Salad bar for lunch is flawless. Several choices for your salad along with dressing. Their daily lunch choices are delicious as well. Especially poppy seed. read more

I would not eat here again. I stopped here as I was in town & didn't know where to go. I got the club panini & my friend got the chicken wrap. They both were so cheaply made it was like something you throw together at home. The club panini had the cheap yellow cheese on it. The chicken wrap had the frozen chicken with the "char marks". It wasn't even wrapped up like a wrap. It had just been rolled together. Not a great menu either. I would not recommend. read more

I travel through Jackson, going from Tuscaloosa to the beach and back, a lot. This time my usual roadside go to restaurant was closed, due to a power outage. So I got on Yelp, and as always they delivered ! I was doing low carb, so fast food was out of the question. I found this place, and I was not disappointed. I had the loaded omelet and a side of bacon. Just what I needed, and the price was very reasonable. The sevice was fast and friendly. I will be back. read more

I was passing through town and stopped here for lunch. This place was good. They have a great selection of pressed sandwiches, burgers, and a salad bar. As far as a bakery selection, I just saw some cake slices and a few brownies. It became very busy right at noon, so I am guessing this is a popular local spot. Check out my lunch pics! read more

I stopped in for breakfast while traveling through for business. Usually in small towns I stick to Waffle House, but I gave pine city bakery a go today. I had the loaded omelet along with coffee and water. The omelet was cooked to perfection, served hot and was very reasonably priced. The service was also courteous. It's a very nice environment to enjoy a good meal and relax. I'll surely be back. read more

Came here for lunch today while in town on business, and had an overall excellent experience. From the minute you walk in the door, you can tell it's a well-oiled machine. Great pride seems to be taken in the cleanliness of the place, the service, the quality of the food, and the dedication to ensuring the customer feels appreciated. I had the buffalo chicken panini. Incredibly good. I wish they were in Atlanta so I could enjoy this meal weekly. I have heard the burgers are excellent, and I'll be tempted to try one next time I'm there, but it's going to be hard to have to forego that buffalo chicken panini in the interest of trying something else. I typically don't order dessert when I go out to eat, but I made an exception today because the baked goods behind the glass counter looked entirely too good to pass up, even though I was already pretty full. I ended up going with a lemon square that reminded me of the ones my mom used to make when I was a kid, and a "Mississippi Mud" chocolate/marshmallow bit of perfection that I intended to save for tomorrow. Needless to say, I couldn't wait. Phenomenal. If I'm not mistaken, all of the desserts are 100% homemade, no mixes, etc. I hear they have very tasty breakfast options, as well. Last but certainly not least is the enjoyment that comes from the relaxed atmosphere of this restaurant, and - to reiterate - the evidence you're surrounded by, that points to the owners' and employees' devotion to quality and attention to detail. This is only my second Yelp! review and I felt that Pine City Bakery & Deli was worth commenting on, and I hope many, many others have the opportunity to enjoy this place as much as I did.
