I have boarded my dog here for years and for the last couple of years the owner Gale has seemed not…read moreso happy, but this year took the cake, she looked totally disgusted when I went to pick up my dog, when I asked what was wrong, she snarled that my dog barked the whole 10 days, I said sorry, he just isn't used to being boarded like this, she snarled neither are the other dogs and they don't bark (now when have you ever visited a kennel where EVERY dog isn't barking), so I paid my bill, went in and retrieved my dog, I was so hurt and angry that I started to cry, I turned to her and said I have referred many people to you over the years, and I can't believe you treat my like this, she snarled again saying your dog just isn't a good boarder! Well I said you could of told me that you prefer that I don't come again, you don't have to treat me or my dog this way, she just walked away!!! This woman has no business owning a kennel, if she doesn't like barking dogs!!! I wonder how she has treated my dog during his five years of life each time he has stayed there? So pay the extra money and go to a caring place that loves and cares for all the dogs!!! I will never go here again and I will tell whomever asks me all about this hateful experience!!!

Jen and James have great expertise in dealing with dogs. I trust their judgement. It is a nice country setting and it shows they take great care when caring for the dogs. One of the cats clearly has respiratory issues going on along with drippy eyes (they were only 16 weeks and were born outside), and the vet blatantly refused to acknowledge and help him claiming "there wasn't enough evidence to support him being sick" even tho he was struggling to breathe and was wheezing a lot. A few days later he only got worse and when I took them back for their first round of shots I got scolded for exposing him to albuterol to help him breathe. At least the vet themselves do not seem to care about the animals, just the money they get out of the visits since they charged $500 to do check ups on 2 little kittens.

We just got our second golden retriever puppy from Famn Damily Farm. We got our first a year and a…read morehalf ago. Both dogs are beautiful, incredibly healthy, and have been amazing additions to our family. And I really can't say enough good things about Famn Damily. I've been there twice now. With my family. In both cases we drove 240 miles to get there, just because we realized what a special place it is, and because we knew we didn't want to get our puppies from any place else. You set foot on the farm, and you see dogs that are truly living their best lives. They have so much space to run and play, they are so well cared for, and so loved, and so clearly happy!! And healthy. And the facilities that have been constructed for the dogs, that clearly took a great deal of time, money and effort to build, are very impressive. Melodie Hammond runs the farm. And she's amazing. I know that my future dogs will be golden retrievers, simply because I know I only want to get puppies from Melodie, from Famn Damily, and Golden retrievers are what she breeds. The last thing I said to Melodie when I left the farm yesterday was, "see you in another two years"
