Since I work full time, he needs to be socialized during the day with other dogs as opposed to being in a crate and play with different dogs than my other two at home. Isn't the point of doggie day care to help with socialization and get exercise for a pup that is otherwise crated during the day? When I noticed that they noted that he was 2 years as opposed to 7 months I called and spoke to someone who then said that sometimes pups regress at this age and other things and they proceeded to tell me that there are other day cares that might be a better fit. That right there ended the conversation for me, obviously they only want specific perfect dogs and not those that may need some help. They want the easy dogs and have enough dogs going where they felt they did not needed my business. I would never bring a dog to them with that attitude, it does not speak favorably of them. As a side note, I work with several different rescues as a foster home and have fostered over 20 puppy mill releases and taught them how to be real dogs and placed them in great homes, my other dogs at home are rescues as well. I have worked with dog behavior specialists and have an understanding of dog behavior.

The prices are really reasonable and the cleanliness and quality of the place is all around great! She called me three times each call was confusing. The first call was to say there's other applicants ahead of me and that when they were approved they would receive the cat. So I asked if should still drive almost two hours one way to meet the cat if other people are eligible and ahead of me. The lady answer calls took a lot of offense to my question saying I should come meet it even if I won't get it. Also I forgot to fill out one part. I filled out the second part I didnt notice. Second call she told me my cat I have isn't at the vet I provided I explained my cat has always went there and it may be under a different last name. She at this point was just rude tell me it was such an inconvenience to be on hold with my vet for less then ten minutes and that she's already gone out of her way and is "jumping through hoops for me". By calling my vet and doing her job ??? Said I'd need call them and have them fax over the info for my car I already have she was yelling at me cutting me off nonstop. Said my cat wasn't vaccinated. So at this point I gave up she has been nothing but rude yelling at me not letting me speak over simple fixes like resending the application. She called me a third time not sure why said she had reached out to my vet again and still nothing. She then cut me off and said I had been cutting her off, yelling and being disrespectful. I actually began to cry because she was speaking to me in such a rude way. All I had done was try and be polite and work with her. I never yelled at her or was disrespectful. At this point I said I wasn't interesting in adopting anymore. I will from now on avoid the cat sanctuary. I've never been treated like that..

The groomer shows her beagles at dog shows across the country, including Eukanuba & Westminster. She is very savvy at how to groom many different breeds. We take our dog there every 1 to 2 months, based on time of year. If ever there is an issue, it is easy to discuss & resolve the issue with the groomer. Her grooming place is clean and does not smell foul, as the previous reviewer stated in 2012. The floors of the boarding kennel have hot water heating. We choose to not board our dogs anywhere. They are a core part of our family and go with us or else we hire someone to stay with them/check in on them if we need to be away. Thru the years, we have learned how much skill, patience and physical effort/labor is involved in grooming a dog. We highly value this groomer, her skills & personalty & would never go anywhere else. Also, if you message Mary, she normally replies within 24 hours. We cannot say enough positives about this groomer! Her other forte is training dogs & their parents,via AKC-based curriculum. With our previous aussie, Sir Bentley, we did a series of 7 Canine Good Citizen Classes, which served us well, all of Bentley's life and into our next 2 aussies' lives.

When picking our dogs up the next day, we noticed they were completely covered with a very strong, disgustingly foul odor. The dogs were bathed immediately at home, and the water in the bath tub after was 10X dirtier than any we've ever had before. I would not recommend this dirt hole to anyone. I will never take a pet to this place again, not even a skunk!!!
