I then received a quote for $17,000 dollars for ~80 ft of 4ft high fence. Basically, they were looking over $50/ sqft to install wood. After receiving the estimate it took a few days before I finally got an email response to my questions on how a fence could be that expensive. Having some experience in construction I merely wanted and understanding on how a fence could cost as much as some houses/sqft in certain parts of this country. Felt like the guy tried very hard to make it seem like his company was expensive because of their quality and the problem was merely my budget. After reading the other reviews that seems very unlikely. Hard to take a guy seriously when he tries to correct me that the material cost is more than just wood. He thought it included engineering and fabrication. Two items that are classic examples of labor cost. Beware others. Fences don't cost $50/sqft
