I went to Greco Jeweler with watches that need to be sized and a bracelet that needed to be fixed…read more The day I was there, ten days ago, I paid for the watches hoping they would be fixed as I waited. The bracelet needed an estimate to be fixed. When the woman who waited on me took the items to the back, she informed me that the jeweler was alone, and would not be able to finish the watches while I waited. That was not an issue as I needed to leave the bracelet anyway. I left all items, the prepaid watches (which we thought I would have that day but could not,) and the bracelet. I called to follow up on the bracelet and was informed it would cost $80.00 to repair. While I thought that was high, I approved the estimate. At all times prior, I thought the staff was extremely pleasant. I had used Greco for other repairs in the past. I went to retrieve my items on September 08, 2026. When I went to pay for the bracelet, I was told that I owed $45.00 for the watches. I explained that I had paid for the watches. Not only did my sales person tell me that this was not possible, "because it was not their policy to pay for adjustments in advance," essentially calling me a liar, two of the other sales persons joined in the mix. I was essentially being called a thief in the presence of three other customers. One of the uninvolved women asked me if they could "play" the security footage from the date in question. Now I understand confusion, but this was over the top. She also told me, in the presence of other customers that she would bring out the owner. I informed them that certainly they could play the tape, and bring the owner out, but I inquired as to why I would come to pay for one order that was $80.00 and steal the $45.00 watch adjustment. I was completely and totally mortified in the presence of other customers. I also had yet another watch to be adjusted and allowed them to do so. I reminded the sales clerk that there was only one jeweler there the day I dropped off the watches and that was the reason I had to leave them. After causing a scene and embarrassing me, I also told them that I am an attorney and had absolutely no intention of stealing $45.00 from them. It took three women, however, to speak to me loudly in front of other customers. I kept my cool, and I offered to pay for the watches again--and to allow them in good faith to view the security tape from the morning in question knowing that they are an honest business, I said that "I am sure you will refund me after the review and call me to refund my money. " After I reminded the woman that they were down one jeweler the morning in question, she said "well that could have happened but it is not our policy and I don't want to argue with you." Again, in front of a store filled with people. I looked at my receipts. The one from the alleged stolen watches was marked "done" on my copy, The other was not on my copy. I certainly understand that these things can happen, but it was a disgraceful manner in which to treat a customer in the presence of others. There was literally NO reason for the other two women who were not involved, to chime in from across the room to imply that I was attempting to steal $45.00. I also had a receipt in my hand that said "done" obviously because it had been paid. Why would that have been written on my copy? I also think my offer to pay -- yet again--subject to their review of the tape, speaks volumes as to my integrity. I cannot state more emphatically that this was a very embarrassing and uncalled for experience. I hope the owner reviews the security footage from the morning in question and has the decency to call me with an apology,. I further hope he schools the people who work there as to how to handle situations rather than allowing the uncalled for behavior to which I experienced. I usually do not YELP unless I have something positive to say, however, this experience was over the top. I will be spreading the word in my community and to anyone I know. Shameful experience and customer treatment.

I left feeling confident that the clock would be working when the work was done. When I received the call to pick up the clock, I was thrilled. The cuckoo clock functioned flawlessly and has been working perfectly ever since, all thanks to Greco Jewelers and Clock Shop! I highly recommend their services.

Alcove is an amazing place that can help with a plethora of issues. My children and I had our first…read moreexperiences with The Alcove a year after it was founded! I lost my husband in 2001, when our sons were just 3 & 6. Grief is such a difficult thing to navigate, especially when you are going through it with your kids. Alcove supported me and my boys with love and kindness. We were separated into groups according to age of children and then parents are separate. At that time, Alcove primarily used art therapy as a way of helping children heal from their trauma. Art therapy accesses the same part of your brain used while dreaming. By creating art, while talking about something, we heal a deeper trauma I didn't think I needed help until I had help. My children are well adjusted men now. I am so grateful!
