Do you want high quality work done by skilled professionals, great value for your money? Well! Look no further! This is the first place you should avoid! To be honest, we heard nothing but rave reviews about Amiano. When we renovated our garage into extra living space, we got 7 quotes. Amiano came in at the lowest at originally 115k. Then once we selected them it went up to 150-170k. Then once they did the full design, it rocketed to 250k!!! Everything was a crazy expensive add on! 20k for a door, 15k for a hot water pipe. 15k for a design change that they messed up, they graciously took 16k off the final price as a discount after realizing their mistake. It did start off nice enough, they did deconstruction in 6 hours and kept at a nice pace. They took down sconces that were on the garage to do construction, put them aside, then at the end said they wanted 10k to reattach what they took down! We settled on 1300. After paying for around half the total, we had to take a 2 monthbreak to liquidate funds. Once liquidated, the project started up at a crawl. After that, everything was an argument. They ruined my office door and refused to fix it. They didn't put GFI outlets next to the sinks. They installed an inside door improperly, and they did a terrible job caulking it. They put these massive outlets on the outside that the kids keep walking into because they stick out 6 inches! They built a trex deck that I complained about. After them saying how great it was, my 2 year old daughter almost fell down them as she walked down it and held the spokes of the handrails and they just fell out of the hole, luckily my wife was holding her hand as she walked down. Dave apologized and came the next day to fix it. The rest of the deck looks like crap. They covered up the mistakes instead of fixing them When there were 2 payments left, all they did was give themselves glowing reviews of the job. We gave them a punch list, they did about 1/3 and asked for 2nd to last payment. We held the last one until allpunch list items were completed. Every 1 they completed, are we done yet, paymentnow? Or oh that's not included and will be an upcharge. No it is here is the contract, grumble... the day of final payment, their only concern was about getting the final payment, not actually wrapping up the job properly. They did not seem to care how unprofessional the job was in total. They only wanted out. We finally gave up and gave them the payment, we were done with them. We ended up paying them over 200k for this renovation. Putting up a floor, closing the outside walls, and putting up a few walls inside. I feel like we severely overpaid for what we got. They ordered parts that they couldn't use, charged us for it, refused to take them back, and instead of replacing it with something comparable, they found the cheapest replacement possible to use. They did not finish attaching all the kitchen cabinets properly, you can see it in my pictures below. When we put it on the punch list, they fixed it enough to get it working. Wrong hinges in multiple places and did not use coordinating screws. Door locks were not the same keys, bolts and knob. We were unable to lock doors, they fixed it reluctantly. We did not get our keys back, they kept them. We have since replaced the locks they had access to. Side door sticks and they refused to fix. Painters did a horrible job in general, sheet rock screws poking out, they did 1 coat, claimed 2 while being watched. Many pieces left unpainted. Pencil marks can be seen through 1st coat of paint. They left a massive mess in our driveway that stained the driveway, they "power washed" and it looks worse than before! A few circles of half assed washing, the rest was left there.... we have to hire someone else to do it again. We are sending them the bill. To be honest, did they do an ok job? Was it passable? Yes. Totally passable, totally functional, from 20 ft away! We are used to people caring about their profession, and doing professional jobs, this was not the case here. If you want to pay a lot of money for a job that is good enough to pass inspection, I recommend them. If you are looking for people that are there just for a paycheck, and will put in just enough effort to get it done, I recommend them. But, if you are looking for 5 star services, 5 star quality, 5 star work, 5 star craftsmanship, 5 star customer service, please, I beg of you. Go elsewhere. Do research. Reach out to multiple contractors. Check out their reviews. Please do not get stuck with Amiano like we did. I have attached pictures of their "5" star work that they did! You be the judge, you let me know if this is worthy of 5 stars as they believe, or if they are just trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

I did Quartz for both countertop and backsplash. Stephan was FANTASTIC to work with. After they were templated, I went back with Stephan's expertise and we laid the templates right on the stone so when the pieces were expertly installed there were no surprises.
