I was blown away by the vivid colors throughout many of the art pieces at their Bigfoot Festival booth. There was one particularly enchanting piece of Emigrant Wilderness that I kept on staring at. I was smitten. I ended up purchasing it and other beautiful art pieces at the festival. After the event - I reached out to the owner of the gallery - to secure some additional works. I can honestly say that each piece purchased has truly transformed our home. One of my favorite aspects of Twain Arte Gallery is that their art is local and it captures local scenery. There is nothing more beautiful than nature - and what better way to support local than through buying epic art inspired by the majestic nature that blesses this area. In each of the photography pieces that we bought - it's apparent that the photographer/artist has a genuine passion and love for the nature that is captured in their art. I am so thankful that we had opportunity to purchase the pieces that we did from Twain Arte Gallery. Both my husband and I adore them. On slow mellow days - we can easily be transported to Kennedy Meadow, Sonora Pass, Pinecrest Lake and the Emigrant Wilderness through the colorful images that now hang proudly on our walls. If you're local or happen to be in the area - be sure to stop on by Twain Arte Gallery during their weekend hours. Trust.

Makes me happy that even small towns can appreciate art and hold space for the creative. I came by last weekend and was happy to check this space out. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and we were the only customers inside. It's a very small gallery but I was happy that it appeared well stocked as the walls were covered as were the tables. We had a little look around but since the shop is smaller our time here went by quick. The woman who I believe to be the owner was super friendly and sweet. Welcoming from the moment we came in and helpful when we had questions. She's an artist herself and was knowledgeable about her pieces in the shop. I wanted to support this local business so I took an extra glance around to see if there was anything I could walk away with. I found that she carries soaps in the shapes of different crystals and was intrigued. These pieces were pretty cool and would make a great gift. They were also one of the most reasonably priced items in the shop at about $14 each. I went with a soap that looked like rose quartz and smelled like rose and other flowers. A super cute find. The only reason I docked a star was I wish the price points were a little more reasonable and that there was even more variety of art. While there was a lot of inventory, a lot of the items looked similar to me and were primarily watercolor prints / paintings. I would have liked to see different mediums, themes and maybe even more pottery etc. Some items I did like and eye like fabrics & stained glass were out of my price range. Overall it was nice to be able to see some local art and to be able to purchase a keepsake to take home. Owner was lovely and it was a nice shopping experience.
