From the friendly phone interactions , to the lovely waiting room, and the gentle and very patient dental assistant, this office did everything right. I think every dentist I've seen has insisted on x-rays because they claim their x-ray equipment is more advanced than the others. Dr. Aldredge was fine with the x-rays I already had and said we'd get a new set within the year. I have pretty advanced gum disease and bone loss but the Dr. assured me that he does his best to save teeth. Whew! I think even if you're scared to death at the thought of sitting in a dentist's chair, you'll do alright here.

With treatment my gums improved - however the area around 2 rear molar teeth had been infected for long enough that the underlying bone had eroded and the 2 teeth were very loose. Dr. Patla urged the 2 molars be removed. The gum surgery healed beautifully, my smile looks good, and if desired dental implants can be placed there in the future. The pockets of infection that had been throughout the gums prior to consulting Dr. Patla have been totally gone for five years. I was taught to do good maintenance and visit Dr. Patla twice a year to keep my teeth and gums healthy... it is so worth it! And her office takes most insurances.

He's the warmest, kindest, most professional dentist that I've ever been with. And Dr. Z ensures that you know what to do for proper aftercare, leaving nothing to nothing to chance. His post-procedure call to check up on me that evening was the icing on the that cake. This won't be the first rave review I've written about Dr. Zatzkin and his office--just the latest since I began my long journey to better gum health well over a decade back, including implants, a first gum graft and pinhole gum surgery he's qualified to perform, which was both successful and virtually a cakewalk thanks to his mastery of the procedure. Hey, it's not an exciting topic, but I think of Dr. Z's expertise and good nature as symbolic of something grander in terms of my having complete confidence in his skills in a world where most of us find our confidence in services severely lagging.
