The trees, from what I can see, are of a good quality and the tree I take home lasts the entire Christmas period easily and they never drop too many needles, which is a positive. The staff are always helpful and patient whilst you move trees to see if they are tall enough, bushy enough or sparse enough (depending on your ideal looking Christmas tree) When you are checking looking for your tree they are all out in height and species areas. They stock all the usual suspects, Nordmann Fir, Norway Spruce, Noble Fir and the Fraser Fir. Along with the obvious selling of trees they also have for purchase, tree stands, wreaths (the Christmas type!!), mistletoe and tree lights. You can also pay by debit/credit card but be warned they do charge you £0.50 for the privilege. Lastly just remember that parking will always be tight as the car park is small and every year I have been very busy.

They will not deliver to your house, but they do wrap up the foliage so its easy for you (or a strong friend) to carry back home. They also have some sales, and should there not be much of a crowd, they might even be open to some bargaining. The trees are very good quality, with fresh and green leaves that give off this lovely smoky aroma that reminds you of the festive season. So go get one before they sell out!

I should probably mention that we had to dump our old kitchen in the garden for two months before we could persuade someone to drive us to the dump...so this has left a muddy, slimy mess. Oops. However, my mum took one look at it, and marched me off to the Camden garden centre to see if we could find some tools and plants. I am glad we did! This place has: * A huge selection of plant pots and statues (I wasn't into them...but maybe other yelpers are?) * Plenty of plants in pots, ready to re-locate into your garden...We bought as many herbs as we could carry!! * Seeeeds! Contacted the garden centre who said they would contact the rep and get back to me, two weeks passed with no contact. Rang them numerous times to no avail. Then a lady called Kate took my call and basically said there was nothing they were going to do, she was very unhelpful with no sympathy for our plight despite us spending nearly £100 on compost. You can always judge the merits of a company when things go wrong and how they deal with it, this time Bexley Garden centre failed miserably. Would not use again and advise others to do so the same.

Also the roses smell heavenly the best smelling roses I have ever smelt. They also sell many other garden items such as spades, gloves, seeds, pets etc. I especially love the metal garden sculptures and concrete statues they sell very unusual and arty. the prices for everything is also well priced. Staff are very happy, friendly and extremely helpful.

It offers an extremely comprehensive range of products. Staff in the outside area can be hard to find but there are knowledgeable staff available if you need advice as I did when selecting a fruit tree for my garden. The level of customer service is high, I was surprised to discover that if you buy a heavy bag of fertiliser or compost it will be taken to your car on an electric carrier! So all in all a recommended place to go for garden supplies and products.

Everyone I talked to was hugely knowledgeable about the plants they sold, and were able to tell me which plants were appropriate for the different parts of our garden. There is a huge selection of garden statues, which my older son loves wandering through. Our family was very loyal to this place for Christmas trees--the selection was always vast and the trees were just gorgeous. Okay, so we paid a quid or two more than, say, Homebase, but to me it was worth it to see the trees (Homebase wraps theirs in netting) in all their glory, plus the trees just seemed nicer, greener, more hearty. This is a true gardener's nursery, don't come here if you're looking for the mountains of tat many nurseries have started to sell, but if you're looking for good quality and variety in your plants, please give this place a go.

It is absolutely the cutest little store, with neatly stacked flower pots and planters. If I lived near here, I would be in this shop all the time. The woman told me about the weekend flower market, which I am sure is remarkable. She also assured me she had plenty of bubble wrap, and she did use it to wrap up the cute little planter I selected. I would have loved to go nuts but you know... whatever I bought had to make it through the gauntlet of international travel to make it home so I had to pick something smaller and portable. An absolutely delightful little shop that I would love to revisit some day.
