The office manager, upon final inspection, was declaring items needing repaired which were issues upon my Moms arrival. I feel they were more worried about retaining money from the deposit instead of doing the right thing and having integrity. My other frustration was directed at the continual increase in rent year-over-year- when you have seniors on a fixed income it causes additional stress they don't need. On a positive note, my Mom always felt safe living independently in her apartment- I just wish we were closing this chapter with a better taste left in our mouths!

We have occasionally parked it at a dead end, with office approval, for 4 years without a problem. Last week they allowed another trailer to park in the right of way blocking flow of traffic for several days without tagging it. We are documenting this as reference for possible further harassment by the office staff. Corporate is no help as they don't answer phone. We are looking forward to being out of here.

They have a nice swimming pool, tennis courts and a small gym. The apartment surroundings and parking are clean and well maintained. They have few apartments with garage. Office has fresh baked cookies available, which are delicious, one of my favorites when I visit the rental office. They have DVDs to rent too, I think they are free. I have a 2 bedroom apartment. It is decent sized with a nice view to the heritage trail that runs behind my house. Yes they have a trail that is behind the apt and is a great place for running and biking. Heating is not great in this place from my experience. I heard the same issue from other tenants too. The bedroom heating is bad though it is centralized. The service guys checked and said its same temperature through out the house, but I doubt it. Other than that this is a decent place to live in Terre Haute. Best part was when I was out of town, I had power shut down from my energy company and it was winter. The emergency service guy was very helpful, he got an extension wire and a mobile heater and hooked up power from the garage for that night in no time. Prompt and efficient service. I will give 5/5 stars for the service they provide.

This is the worst place ever! The apartments are old houses divided up and look decent before you…read moremove in, that's when the problems start. There is no insulation so your electricity bills are super high, the water pressure is horrible, everyone that I've talked to also renting from them has experienced bugs. The handy man is super sketchy (and seems to be high most the time) , when a maintenance request is put in he'll show up and knock then without even waiting for a response let himself in. They'll give notice about showing your apartment then not show up, but if they show up without telling you (which it states in the lease that they have to tell you) its apparently not breaking the lease. Then they tried telling us that if we break the lease instead of just keeping our deposit that they'd keep our deposit and we'd still have to pay for the months left on our lease. Yes it's convenient and close to campus, but not worth the hassle.

Good luck ever trying to get in contact with staff when a problem arises. The staff are on the…read morepremises a total of 11 hours a week during normal working hours so it is very diffucult to talk to them in person. The staff are not personable AT ALL. If you call and leave a voicemail they will not bother to call you back, they will simply send you you a brief e-mail several days later... I highly recommend getting your own washer/dryer in the apartment, although they will charge you an extra $30 a month. The public washers/dryers constantly broke down when I was there and ate countless quarters. Last, I decided to move out before my lease was up due to finding a place closer to work, and they took it upon themselves to clean and let someone else move in WHILE I WAS STILL PAYING FOR THE APARTMENT. Although I was no longer living there, I still had the lease under my name and was still paying for it. They did not even ask if I would mind if they moved someone else in. Overall, the lack of communication, over-price, and lack of maintenance to washer/dryers, door-locks, etc. left me with a below average experience.
