Wow!! What an incredibly fun experience! My friends and I booked the private room for 1.5 hours and had an absolute blast! The room is spacious with a couch and some benches, so you can take a break if you're getting tired! Besides the private room, they also have a large paid public space with 3 ping pong tables. There's a couple features that I find very innovative: 1. They have two long rackets to pick up ping pong balls so you don't have to bend down and hurt your knees and back! 2. You can take replays of rounds, especially if you want to capture fun moments! 3. The private room has its own bathroom! 4. Self service and pay by QR code drinks and snacks. I came here with my cousins and my son and had a great time. I didn't even know this place existed. I've always wanted to play ping pong but none of my friends showed too much interest. I like how serious they are about security. You cannot enter without a reservation. The space itself consists of 3 ping pong tables and they have a private room that you can use as well for parties and lessons and such. There is a LCD screen to keep score as well as give a tutorial on how to play. The best part are the replays! We enjoyed seeing those when we "thought" we had a good game :). There is one bathroom and it is kept pretty clean: They have a cooler with water,Gatorade and Red Bull so snack before you come. What a fun addition to River North! We had friends visiting over Easter weekend and we wanted to do something different with them. Reservations were easy on their website, there's no check-in process when you get there, just start playing when your timing starts. They provide paddles and balls, as well as a scoring system. There's 3 tables total and comfortably spaced out. A fun time! read more

Had a great time at PingPod! We booked 2 tables for a party of 7. This allowed us to switch up the teams while giving people a break (there's a long bench in the middle that was perfect for sitting and watching, eating snacks and talking). The score system was easy to figure out and the replays were so fun to watch the next day. There's a Target and McDonalds close by if you ever get hungry or need to get snacks which we liked. I thought this was such a fun idea. Of course there are ping pong tables at some park districts but this was a great idea to have a place, especially at this location, where you can play ping pong at almost any time (they are open until 2AM!!!). I thought the check-in and accessing the tables was really smart/easy to do and had a great time. My husband and I reserved a private room as we weren't sure what to expect. When you walk in, there are a few tables in the open space for play. It's a somewhat small space so the private room is located in the back. There isn't a person who checks you in -everything is self locating/self check-in. The private room is cool with a tv that can show pictures, you can hook your blue tooth up to the speaker and there are couches for others to sit on. It's also easy to add additional time if your time is up. Lastly - there's a bathroom connected to the private room which is really convenient. We had a lot of fun playing our own games - theres a score board on the side and you press a button under the table to record scores. I truly had a wonderful time and would love to try PingPod again. We had so much fun visiting PingPod! It's definitely an interesting experience, there are no workers at this establishment and everything is accessible via the account you set up. The private room was awesome it had Bluetooth to play your own music and small private bathroom. There aren't really any food or drinks allowed and no alcohol allowed. The name of that bookie is also on the little screen kiosk that keeps score as well as a short instructional video on how to arrange games.
