This was a super cute thing to do while visiting Chicago. The weather was beautiful so we wanted to do something outside so we decided to go to Maggie Daley park. The mini golf is surrounded by the beautiful tall buildings right in the city. There is some cute Chicago themed holes which was fun. The whole thing is not really big though, the holes take about 2 hits ( if you aren't good haha) I still recommend this experience because the scenery. Good family friend activity.

So SO much fun and just spontaneous decision to just play! Over 1/2 the holes are cute city icons and all are well done with a few challenges. It was daily busy but flowed well and everyone in great spirits! We would totally do this again!!!

Really fun outdoor golf at the millennium park. This is a must do with family or friends or on a date. I highly recommend it. Parking is cheap in the gagrage undergoround if you book it ahead. There are 18 holes for about $12 so def worth it for about a 1-1.5 hr play time. The courses are fun and cute. It's close by to the bean, amphitheaters and to other food with a short walk. You can make a whole day of it.

Fantastic unique mini golf course - loved the well maintained holes, unique themes and overall play. Love that a military discount is offered. Super fun to play - unexpected surprise that the course was open early in April.

My son and I have been watching the TV show Holey Moley and have been wanting to go mini golfing for a while. So, we decided to visit an awesome mini golf course in Chicago. We arrived right at 10 am and were warmly greeted by the lady running the booth. The holes are creative and fun. I highly recommend this place for a great city adventure.

This was so fun. Price $12 per person and the price include the full course, a personal ball and club. There was no time limit, the music was playing all over the park. Thank you Rob the attendant for the laughs and good vibes while checking in and out of space. This is a super fun outing for dates or groups. Very very kid friendly. There's nearby restaurants and bathrooms in the park.

City Mini Golf is a hidden gem within the city. Found in Maggie Daley Park, this is a fun way to spend a Summer day Chicago! I discovered this spot pretty late, as it is tucked away in Maggie Daley Park. I went on a warm Summer day and I was surprised that it wasn't too crowded. The holes all have a fun Chicago theme which made it super fun to play through! Two of my favorite holes are pictured below :)

First time mini-golfing and I love it. This is such a cute outdoor course. They have different length clubs and balls. Staff were friendly. This establishment is kept pretty clean, which is a huge plus since it's outdoors. When you return your ball, there's a ball drop game (not sure if it's still there). Would definitely mini golf here again!

Had a lot of fun playing mini golf with my SO on our recent trip to Chicago. There are 18 holes (or 21?! I don't know golf) a couple of which are Chicago themed (a bulls course, a Chinatown arch, etc). There were also some tougher courses, so if you have slightly better coordination you'll have more of a challenge (it was all a challenge for me. But a fun one!) Prices are reasonable for an hour or so of playing around

Wow, this was a lot of fun! I came here with family, and I love that the holes were very challenging. At the same time, it was awesome that there was a Chicago theme built throughout the course. My only complaint is that these guys appear to be closed for the season now. I think there might still be some warm days left, and that's unfortunate because they are losing potential business. Cannot wait for this place to open back up!

We had a blast playing on this course . It's location is so cool being right in the heart of the city . All the holes are Chicago themed . I just loved that . We had so much fun . Def check this spot out .

Most holes are par 2 or 3 to make it easy enough for kids but just challenging enough for adults

Really great place to mini golf with the fam or friends! The course is 18 holes but it goes by quickly! Most holes are meant to be completed in 2 or 3 shots and are easy enough for kids or all ages and entertaining enough for adults. The one bummer was not all of the holes had a "Chicago" theme to it but the ones that did were nice! I hope over the years they continue adding more themes so eventually all 18 holes have Chicago pride displayed! This is completely outdoors so you'll be at the mercy of weather. The views are great and between certain holes you can see some great shots of the famed skyscrapers. People were very well spaced out and patient as groups moved from hole to hole. Staff are cleaning off clubs and balls after each use. They also have some nice log seating all along the course which is great for those who need an extra break between holes. Overall a really great time and great outdoor activity to do on a nice day! Take note of some of their discounts (teachers, military, seniors, AAA members)! Fyi, prices listed are after taxes!

Upon arrival we showed the nice guy at the register our tickets and we got a red game play card with 100 credits on it. Unfortunately, I don't think I even used all of my credits. So many machines were out of order, I would say a good 30% of their inventory was not working. So the games got a little repetitive. There was one machine that had no out of order service sticker, so we tried to use it and it didn't work. It just stole our credits. It was the machine where you hit the ball to test your strength. My friends and I got pretty bored with the games and went to their restaurant. We just shared an order of wings and my friend got funnel cake fries that came with ice cream and an assortment of other toppings. The food was okay- it was what you would expect arcade food to taste like. Our waiter was very kind, but service was really slow. We had to flag someone down to take our order after we initially sat down and waited for about 20 minutes. I probably wouldn't come back here, if I want a mediocre arcade experience I'll just stick with Dave and Busters!

Of course we took our kids along because they would be the ones who could take full advantage of the facilities. The park itself was quite large, but we went for the kids playground. Signs were clearly marked for direction so we got to our destination with no difficulties. Our boys definitely enjoyed the suspension bridge, though my younger one was hesitant to go on first. I did see some older kids who were climbing "outside of the bridge infrastructure. There was a note to remind anyone not to do so. Oh well, it is what it is. Even if some accidentally fell when doing risky tricks, the soft padded ground would reduce the impact. On the other hand, there was one section of playground exclusively for children older than 5 years old. The slide seemed to be more advanced for young toddlers for sure. Therefore, we performed our sightseeing duty and walked away since our munchkins were 2.5 and 4.5 years old. Our older one enjoyed the straight slides. I liked that fact there were multiple slides with various speeds so that kids would not get bored on staying on the same one. Normally I wouldn't recommend anyone to drive to downtown but we did this time. My partner was able to secure a spot via SpotHero at the Harris Theater for a reasonable price. I got there much later than our scheduled arrival time yet he was able to extend for another 30 minutes in the app. Overall, we highly recommend parents to visit "Maggie Daley Park" and let the kids release some energy. We probably will be back again to poke around other areas when spring and summer in Chicago are in full bloom.

There are several play areas of swings, slides, and climbing structures, some intended for (and with signs to indicate) specific age ranges. The giant slides and towers, and the ship-shaped climber, were very popular. Busy, but not over-crowded. It was quite entertaining, and we played there over 1.5 hours!

One is a library kinda like Harry Potter. The other is snow/ski lodge themed. The reservation option for unlimited play and food tickets was a pretty good deal at around $40. With a group of 3 people each course ended up taking about 30 minutes. Some of the courses were kinda hard and we ended up just skipping after 6 tries since that's the max score. There were times when the screen glitched out or when the previous people at the course left their scorecard and it needed to be cleared. It wasn't that big of deal but one of us did have to get an employee from the dining area when this happened (at the ski lodge course). The software is pretty cool, you use the tablet at each station and once you finish inputting your score, your group's scorecard will automatically pop up at the next location. Perfect fun especially when you go at a time that's not too busy. We went on Mother's Day evening so maybe that's not a popular activity for mother's. The problem is that on busy nights you face extremely long lines for the attractions and the park is over crowded- especially during COVID! There was no capacity limit set, no one (staff especially) was wearing masks, even though we were outside, social distancing wasn't enforced, and the props (axe, golf clubs and balls, go kart machines) weren't cleaned after each guest. Every attraction we headed to there was a long line, at least a 30 minute wait-- go karts have the longest line. Overall, Neon Summer is a nice concept, but they need better time management and crowd control because it was not enjoyable to wait 30+ minutes in every line, including the bars.
