I canceled my membership after my six-month term and was told by the employee I was "all set." Despite that, I was charged $124 the next month. When I called, they said I could pick up a refund, but when I arrived it was only $44 -- no one ever told me it would be partial. The following month, they charged me another $80 for a "red light license" I was never told required separate paperwork. The owner refused to refund the charges, hiding behind the contract. Very misleading practices and poor customer service -- I would not recommend this business. I will also be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau. read more

Signed up on Saturday for their st paddy special, 47$ the young man helping me was amazing very friendly. Was Dissappointed in bed 2. Monday went in and asked to refund. The girl working said she couldn't do the refund, needed to call her boss. BOSS can't give refund or call me. Had the young lady that can't give refund call me back to say inform me no refund. I own a buisness i would have called the customer myself, was told I could upgrade that was my option. I've been a customer for over 2 years, just cancelled my membership today over goggles. I paid $125.00 per Month, I may go once a week. You would think they could supply goggles instead of giving me a hard time. Any other Salon supplies eye protection as required. They don't see a need to do as required by law as a business. They just put it on the client. Pinky needs to follow the law and stop making excuses. CFR21 1040.2 (C), (4) California Business and Professions Code 22706 (a) 2: to provide eyewear as required by the business, not by the client.. Civil penalty is $2500 per day to the business. It's not the clients responsibility to protect you, it's your business and you are required to protect it by following the law and respecting your customers. Not greeting them with "I need to see your goggles". How rude. We definitely need a new Salon in the area. read more

Just moved to the area, wanted to try a place close to home I've been tanning for 15yrs I'm aware of how all the beds work I even paid for a upgraded bed mind you they only go up to 12mins I didn't achieve much color after going at least 3x a week I decided to give it another shot and try a different bed the young girl wasn't completely trained apparently it took about 20mins to be charged there was no one else there she offered me a month of unlimited tanning for $30 she explained the specials apparently they were the wrong specials she was offering nevertheless she charged me I asked for a receipt she said it didn't come out but I was fine I went back for my next session and they couldn't find my renewal I went into detail to what had occurred then she called me saying I wasn't charged she had the owner call me I had no problem paying the $30 special I was supposed to be charged but they wanted me to pay a different price they wouldn't honor what they were supposed to have charged me for their employees mistake or not being properly trained or having the correct price knowledge didn't think that's a good way to bring in new customers then called back and told me I wasn't welcomed at either locations I hadn't planned to go back but wow it wasn't my mistake lol! Either way beds suck! Don't waste your money I can only write for the Beaumont location maybe Yuciapa is better idk. 1 star for the catchy name lol read more

I contacted the owner with a complaint regarding a driver, and the owner accepted responsibility and handled it very thoroughly. She even called me to follow up, and really expressed genuine care and concern over her business, as well as the way that people perceive it. It's very difficult to find business owners who are open and receptive to constructive criticism, and should all her employees act with the standard of care that she displayed, I would most highly recommend this establishment, and recommend everyone to check it out if they're in the area! This ends up being a story of a rocky start, and an excellent finish. Totally change my mind. 10 out of 10 should totally check this place out. read more

Would you go to a salon where the owner called you CRAZY? Me either... So I walk into the salon, it was clean and pleasant looking inside. I was greeted by the owner and I told her my friend and I were looking to get 10 session deal that I called prior to coming in. She gave me paperwork to fill out and I brought it back up to the counter where my friend was standing. My friend had asked about a monthly plan which when I had called was told they were not doing monthly plans at this time by Brooke. She then told me that they had monthly plans and "when did I call?" I told her, "yesterday" (my mistake, it was 2 days prior) and she snipped back at me that she and her daughter worked the prior day and that "they would hdd as he NEVER told me that". Then proceeded to tell us that Brooke was new and that she had "thrown into the fire because she went of our town for her ill sister". We gave our condolences. She signed in my friend and got her set up for 10 mins in a bed and at this time, 3 other ladies had walked in. She told them that it was going to be about 20 mins before she could get them in unless they wanted to do a stand up which one of the ladies did because she was in a rush. So she took my friends payment, the stand up ladies payment as well as a "red light" treatment lady. So there is me and one other lady waiting. She take my paperwork, adds me to the system, sold me glasses and a $5 pack of tanning cream. $70 later I was all set with a monthly plan. Sweet. Then she takes the lady that came in after me and puts her in a bed. Wait. what? Let's not forget I was the first person in the salon. So I'm waiting in the lobby for about 10 mins and my friend walks out and I hadn't even been in a bed yet. So I proceeded to tell her that I was upset and that I was the first client in and I had yet to be in a bed and that she allowed 4 other ladies to come in and take a room. So I gave her back the glasses and tanning cream and asked for a refund. She RUDELY said l, "we don't do refunds"! Okay, no problem I told her, I just dispute this with my back. Thank you. Then she started yelling at me, telling me that there was no available beds for me. I said that's fine. I'm not interested and that I'll get my refund from my bank, thank you. She then VERY LOUDLY said, "You're crazy!" I then walked to my car with my friend and was standing by my car and I could here her, again very loudly to other clients that I was crazy. I have been going to Pink Cheeks for a while now. But, I just signed up for the year contract with my gym membership. I really enjoy going and the deal is great! I got a spray tan in the Versa machine today and it looks amazing. I am seriously glowing! Julie was so helpful with setting me up before the spray tan and informative. I didn't want to bring my review to yelp but I have no choice since speaking to the owner and manager was no help to me. I went to get a $25 tan on December the 2nd, got charged $30 onto my debit card the 8th. Found that odd considering debit card purchases go through immediately. I then got charged another $30 the 19th of December which also over drafted my account considering I didn't plan for any money to be taken out on that date. I spoke with the owner who did try to "help" figure out why I got charged again. She had her manager call me & explain to me I never got charged on the 2nd (I sent a picture of my bank statement to the owner) & that that's why they charged me the 19th. I explained I did, & she said to bring proof to her. With that attitude I didn't even feel like dealing with her so again I went back to the owner & explained my bank did cover the charges. She said to just deal with my bank & let her know from there. I did get refunded the money from MY BANK & not them , but I tried to go around frauding the business and having to leave a bad review. Long story short, check your cards if you paid with one. Edit : changing my rating to a one now because since I posted a review on their facebook, the facebook no longer allows reviews after mine (word of mouth goes a long way in a small town) & the owner messaged me very unprofessional because I did so. My review was actually very reasonable on there , I'd be more upset about this one considering I went into detail. If you rate them a 1 on facebook, be prepared to have YOUR commenting blocked so you can get backlash from everyone else that she allows to comment on the review read more

This tanning salon is a faudelant company. IF you or ever we're am member of pink cheeks tanning salon you need to check or credit card statement because pink cheeks will continue to charge your credit card even if your membership 1 year membership is over. They also will over charge your if they the card didn't go though, and deny you access to the salon even if you prove that the card was good and the salon went though. So now it's a year of salon charges and all I will receive is 2 month and 50% off tanning lotions. That very very fraudulent business practices. They are under investigation by the state consumer affairs division. So watch out. read more

I live this place. Starting with the staff. Awesome. Casey is very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me to pick out cute t-shirts and yoga pants. I then proceeded to start my first spray tan. I thought it would be scary or take too long or be too expensive or turn me orange. None of that happened. After getting into the room I prepped then got in booth. Pushed the button and less than a few minutes later I was done. Wait. That's all? Ok. I can do this. I stepped out and was able to put my clothing on without waiting too much time. Then I was done. It takes me longer to put on make up than it did to get a tan. My husband got one too. Over the next few hours my tan slowly developed into a nice warm glow. Not orange and not obvious. I will use this method to keep my tan through the winter. Overall experience 5 stars. Price 5 stars. Location 5 stars. Staff 5 stars. I highly recommend Pink Cheeks. If my first experience was this easy the next visit was even easier. read more

I love this place! They have so many options , UV lay down tanning beds , the stand up , spray tan booths, even red light therapy! I love how the staff/ employees/owner are super friendly and helpful. It's always super clean in here so you never have to worry about getting a dirty room. Terrible place to tan, the beds dont work!! I never got any color which means they dont work. I know the beds dont work because i signed up at another tanning salon and saw color after the first week. When i first signed up they entered my card info wrong so they tried to take their late fees when it was their fault. They still took them which caused me to overdraft my friend and i went to the owner about it and she said she couldnt help me. Claimed it was my fault and refused to refund me my money, had to go to go to the bank about it and the bank refunded me my money. The owner is unhelpful, not knowledgable about tanning and shes rude!! Everytime i would go tan she would talk about other clients, make rude remarks to me along other people. If you do tan here do not sign up for the year bc you are wasting your money!! If you sign up for the year and you cancel you still have to pay the year out even if you are not going!! The way they run this business is not professional Julies daughter is nice Julie herself is not!! I'm so happy I found Pink Cheeks in Yucaipa! The salon is gorgeous, very clean, brand new and they have the best prices I've ever seen. You don't have to deal with ridiculous "bed levels" that the other salons make you pay an arm and a leg for . Pink Cheeks has brand new gorgeous beds that get you so tan so fast. Not only that but they have Mystic tan and it's gives you the most beautiful bronze glow I've ever seen. And on top of all that they have red light therapy beds, if you have acne, cellulite, stretch marks, eczema , psoriasis, wrinkles , or just want to start anti aging, this is your place. They beat everyone's prices from what I've seen and your getting the best quality! Try them once and you will not want to go anywhere else. They are open so long and have the most caring, polite, knowledgeable staff. I'm writing this review because I truly believe so many of you are missing out . Pink Cheeks in Yucaipa is down right amazing! It is a new business that just recently picked up in their customer cliental. The workers are always pleasant, and do whatever they can to keep customers happy and satisfied. The management is working on converting one of the red light therapy beds to a second lay down UV tanning bed in order to help with some of the new congestion. Like any new small business the ownership started off small until they became busy enough to financially keep up with an expansion to their salon. I have had no problem tanning in any of their beds. I am not one typically to post on yelp and defiantly not a complainer but when I saw that poor review i felt the need to share what i (alongside of so many others) have experienced. The workers truly like to connect with their clients and get to know them. I honestly love this salon and cannot wait to see what wonderful things are in store for them. read more
